Do you object to helping less well off households make their homes warmer and more fuel efficient ?
-
Or, lower the price cap and get the oil and gas companies to pay the tax they ought to. If the cap came down by £400 by limiting the wholesale and network components, and then freeze standing charges, that would make a far greater difference.

The Green Levy is approx 8% of a dual fuel bill, just over £150.
-
If people are facing their homes being repossessed then taking the Green Levy off their bills won't save them. https://news.sky.com/story/green-levies-why-scrapping-them-wouldnt-lower-your-bills-as-much-as-claimed-12619655
-
The Green Levy helps fund social programs to insulate homes and make home heating systems more efficient, therefore keeping the levy would probably lower bills more than removing it.
-
So why not lower the price cap to squeeze their obscene profits ?
-
VAT on fuel bills is 5%. Cutting it completely would not make a dent in many people's charges.

Mark Zuckerberg is not as well liked within his company as he might think...... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-62497674 "Meta's new prototype chatbot has told the BBC that Mark Zuckerberg exploits its users for money"

I wonder if it will be in the shop run by the tattooed freak with the bell.

Why did Ralph say it was hard to defend against PL strikers. All the teams we play seem to manage it. ( I know, you will all say we don't have any PL strikers ).

Universities "blacklisting" books to protect students.......

If you can't have books about slavery, when do you stop having books about the Holocaust ? -
A report in The Times says that many universities in the UK are removing books from reading lists, or issuing warnings about their content, to "protect" the sensibilities of students. For instance "The Underground Railroad" had been removed from use as it depicts slavery. Authors whose works have either been blacklisted or had warnings posted include Shakespeare, Chaucer, Dickens, Emily Brontë, Agatha Christie, and Jane Austen. Is this the new battleground for Wokeism ? Isn't the point of a university education to challenge and be challenged ? When do they start burning the books ?

Probably self inflicted. I don't think Ukraine are yet in a position to directly target territory that Russia annexed in 2014 and views as it's own. ( Unlike DPR and LPR which are 'independent' self governing puppets ). They have the means, but would they risk the possible retaliation ? ( Also, it can't be Ukraine because, as the post above informed us, Ukraine has already lost the war. )

In the children's TV series Roger And The Rottentrolls there is a football match in one episode where the trolls play the "Christmas Pudding" formation, and their sole tactic is to "pass the ball to Pen-Y-Ghent". They, of course, won the match. ( btw, Pen-Y-Ghent was a girl ).

Never in doubt.

Shell have nearly 8Billion ordinary shares, and the first quarter dividend for this year was 20p, so by my arithmetic that payment is in excess of £1.5Bn. Also, https://www.bigissue.com/news/environment/shell-got-a-92m-tax-refund-from-the-uk-government-last-year-despite-making-14-7bn-profit/ https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-05/u-k-to-get-surge-of-tax-payments-from-shell-and-bp-this-year -
Take the last THIRTEEN games of last season into account and explain what progress the performance at WHL demonstrated. Factor in team selection, formation, in game tactical changes, substitutions, general standard of coaching awareness as the game progressed, and leadership on the pitch.

1) The Ai report was a disgraceful sham, a coup for Putin, and they are rapidly distancing themselves from it. 2) The Russians are using the nuclear plant as a 'shield' to protect their artillery from heavy retaliatory fire. 3) Try actually reading the CNN report and understanding what pressures are influencing those interviewed, and why they found the route to Russia was their only safe way out of a war zone. If Ukraine are losing, how much territory have they lost in the last month ? 4) In which case God help the Russkies when Ukraine get their logistics properly organised. The 30% claim was made by a CBS associate, which reported that Ukraine was selling the weapons on the black market - CBS have since wihdrawn the original piece as it related to claims made early on in the supply of US weapons, and CBS are now "updating the story" to better reflect the situation as it is today. Still, you keep on being an obedient little shill, copying and pasting snippets and headlines taken completely out of context.

Taking the Tory local election leaflet out of the letter box and taking it straight outside to the bin whilst the person who posted it is still shutting the gate.

Next year his replacement could be our #1 priority and we could use a much larger proportion of our budget on ensuring we got a quality replacement. In the meantime we at least get a known level of performance and goals this season.

If he has 2 years left on his contract sell him next year.

Given what the club have done in the previous 2 seasons plus the current window, maybe they should pay attention to the forum.

All Amnesty have done is give Russia an open invitation to shell residential areas with a ready made justification.
