I don't disagree. Surely an organisation where more than 20% of the workforce are from ethnic minorities, and 30% of medical staff are Asian, is demonstrating it's diversity without the need for further active promotion.

I think the decision was that he had 'come back from an offside position', so benefitted from having been offside as the ball was played. The fact that the ball did not go forwards is irrelevant, it is the player's position at the moment the ball is touched that counts..

Alternatively, the system did it's job and ensured that Liverpool didn't lose.

The lino ruled that the player who had taken the corner was coming back from an offside position. Without any video to verify or over-rule it his decision stood.

I'd be seething with the Salah goal not being ruled out, let alone being at one of the biggest stadiums in Europe and not having a VAR camera in the correct position.
