  1. Did he do a repeat after the second free kick ?

My point is that if you are simply walking down a street most people will not be 2 metres away from you, if only in passing, and in the open air you will not be wearing a mask as you don't have to. There is evidence that small droplets containg the virus can spread at least 8 metres, and you could quite easily be walking 7 or 8 feet behind somebody breathing out the virus, so following the guidance is not going to protect you or anybody else if there is no lockdown in place limiting the numbers of people 'out and about'.

  6. An armless man kicked you ?
  7. They claim that her skin colour is irrelevant as the series is investigating Anne Boleyn's psychological make up. Presumably any baby representing the future Queen Elizabeth will have a similar skin tone.

It's strange how there seems to be a correlation between those thinkng the lockdown is unwarranted and those who support Brexit. No doubt they will claim that they are 'free thinkers' who can see through the BS.

Do you wear a mask at all times ? Do people walking around shops etc wear masks and absolutely maintain 2 metres 'social distancing' ? Do all people wear eye covering, ( a route for nfection ), ? How much more testing is now being done compared to 6 mnths ago, and how effective is it compared to then. ( Remember Trump's statement that "if we don't test we'll have no cases" ).
  11. We are getting goals from far more players this season. Ings has only scored 2 of our last 11. What we would miss as much is his roaming play, moving wide and dragging defenders after him. Without Ings on the pitch, defending against us would be less stressful.
  12. Plus Hugh Carthy, from Preston, has just won up the Angliru in the Vuelta e Espana. Just shows what training in the Trough of Bowland can do for you. 😊

  14. Ings has only scored 2 of our last 11 goals, same as Vesty. ( #positivespin #toungefirmlyincheek )
  15. So today's scapegoats are KWP and JS. Regarding KWP, Ralph should have done something tactically to sort out the right hand side in the second half, especially with their short corners. As for JS, we abdicated control of the midfield when we switched off at 4-0, allowed Villa to dominate the game and our defensive organisation went into panic mode. Still, back to back wins against the top 2 ( at the time ) teams in the league. MOM - JWP in the first half, Macca in thye second.
  16. We need to stop the short corners on our right hand side.

So, what would you do if you were in charge at the moment ? The Government may be constantly playing catch up, but keeping everything open isn't working.

  22. The original and best Bond. Brings to mind the Phoenix Nights episode "Disco Inferno", where Max and Paddy are discussing Connery's film career - "No wig no hit".

The Government and NHS had a certain level of contigency planning, but it was based on assumptions, and some of it was cut back a few years ago. This article was printed in February .... https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-government-s-plans-for-a-pandemic-are-both-reassuring-and-alarming As for being 'unable to get our act together', the Government was elected to 'Get Brexit Done' and has proved to be incapable of managing anything else, ( and it hasn't yet successfully accomplished it's one avowed aim ).
