  1. %th in the table after 10 games, above both Manchester clubs and Arsenal, and half way to avoiding relegation. With the depth in the squad we have, where do we realistically expect to be ?
  2. Yep. All those game changers warming the bench.
  3. At least the media got the result they wanted.
  4. One goal in 57 substitute appearances. About time for a second.
  5. Life is rascist - there's always somebody to pick on and discriminate against. It seems to be the Human condition.
  6. Presumably you haven't watched any of the Lord of the Rings films then. What do you think of Star Wars ?
  7. Tony Pulis
  8. Firstly, no I am not. Secondly, anybody posting a Rudy Guiliani quote to support their case has already lost the debate, and probably the plot and their marbles, ( as has Rudy ).
  9. I fear for the next Presidential election; last time we had Trump's claims about Hillary Clinton, then there's the current circus where because he didn't win it must be a fraud. How are his zealots going to act in 4 years time, after fermenting through the Biden Presidency. It's bad enough, though entirley expected, that Trump acts the way he does, but when educated, legally trained, experienced politicians back up his delusions, or at the least keep schtum when they know full well he is no more than a tantrum throwing baby, where does 'democracy' go next ?
  10. Just plain wrong - under PA State law the Governor holds the power to certify the result and appoint the Electoral College candidates, and, in fact, this has already been done - 20 votes for Biden. Newsmax makes Fox News look like a left wing red top.
  11. https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/11/05/fact-check-wisconsin-voter-turnout-line-past-elections/6176028002/ The real turnout numbers Wisconsin had more than 3.6 million registered voters heading into Election Day, and more than 3.2 million Wisconsinites voted in the presidential race. But those aren’t the numbers used to calculate turnout here. For starters, Wisconsin allows same-day voter registration, so that number of registered voters goes up throughout the day. In 2016, for example, 12.7% of voters registered on Election Day, according to the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Even more important, registered voters is the wrong figure entirely for calculating turnout. Voter turnout in a same-day registration state is based on the percentage of eligible voters who cast a ballot. So when you divide the number of votes cast in Wisconsin — 3,278,963 as of Nov. 5 — by the voting-age population in Wisconsin (4,536,293 as of 2019, according to the elections commission), you get a turnout rate of 72.3%.
  12. Or just making things up.
  13. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-wisconsin-more-votes-regist/fact-checkwisconsin-did-not-have-more-votes-than-people-registered-idUSKBN27K2WU " Many examples making this claim feature a screenshot of a now-deleted tweet from a user named Mike Coudrey that reads “BREAKING: Wisconsin has more votes than people who are registered to vote. Total number of registered voters: 3,129,000. Total number of votes cast: 3,239,920. This is direct evidence of fraud.” ( here, archived here archive.is/us8Os ) The Wisconsin Elections Commission has voter registration statistics available on its website elections.wi.gov/node/7220 (archived here archive.vn/PXAD8 ). The total number of registered voters in the state on Nov. 1, 2020 at 7 a.m. was 3,684,726. Reid Magney, Public Information Officer for the Wisconsin Elections Commission, told Reuters by phone that the claim is “pure disinformation” and confirmed the number of registered voters as 3,684,726." .............................................. https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-wisconsin-vote-vs-voters-afs:Content:9672223878 CLAIM: Wisconsin has “3,129,000 registered voters,” but counted 3,239,920 votes. AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. According to the Wisconsin Elections Commission, the state had 3,684,726 active registered voters as of Nov. 1. As of Wednesday afternoon, there had been nearly 3.3 million ballots counted in the presidential race, according to The Associated Press. Come back home from Fantasy Island and accept reality, the only 'Dodgy Shit' is what Rudy Guiliani uses to dye his hair.
  14. From the BBC live text; Live Reporting Phil Dawkes 72 mins Post update Everton 0-0 Leeds There have been 31 shits so far in this game.
  15. Based on what ? The Supreme Court ? The EC won't go with any other result than endorsing the state certifications, which will go exactly as the news media have called the results. The reason Trump is losing in the Courts is because his 'World Class Legal Team' have presented zero evidence of fraud or conspiracy in front of a judge, because there isn't any, and even if they manage to take an appeal all the way to the Supreme Court, they can't start trying to introduce 'evidence' there that hasn't already been aired in a lower arena. I suppose assaination is a remote possibility, but then we'd almost certainly end up with President Kamala Harris.
  16. Clough was value for money, unless he'd been too long in the bar. Fergie is the mark by which all others are measured. Of the current bunch Klippety and Moanrinho are by far the worst, but in general the majority are blinkered, biased, and boring whingers. Oh for a Gordon Strachan interview.
  17. Do you think there's 1 chance in a million that he won't be ? Short of him dying before Inauguration Day he''l be in the Oval Office on Jan 21st. ( And hopefully, Trump will be having to avoid New York state ).
  18. "We won that by a big margin, if you count only the valid goals we won. What happened out there was fraud on a massive scale. The VAR system was funded by a dead Venezuelan dictator, the scoreboard switched Liverpool goals to Brighton, a van load of Brighton goals was brought in through the back door and the officials completely ignored them ".
  19. Trump has won 1 and lost 38 so far, and a requested ( demanded ? ) recount in one Wisconsin district increased Biden's vote.
  20. No, I am suggesting that you have stuffed your tongue firmly into your cheek and are playing agent-provocateur.
  21. Is this your new crusade ?
  22. Those are the rules effective from Jan 1st 2021, and whilst the licences are technically "time limited", did you miss the mention of "automatically renewed" ? Edit: one of the options the Government is looking at to improve UK fisheries is to extend the licence to 5 years. (PS: are you on some sort of bonus for every time you post 'regained control' ? ) 🙂
  23. Sisters
  24. But it is never just Friday, why can't Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, or any other day involved get a mention ?
  25. UK quota allocation rules are not changing, so as long as a foreign owned vesssel qualifies by the following conditions for a licence, it will be able to continue; landing over 50% by weight of their catch into UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man ports. demonstrating that at least 50% of the total crew man days at sea were accounted for by crew normally resident in UK coastal areas. providing proof that routine expenditure in the UK on goods and services for the vessel was equal to either: i) 50% of the value of quota stocks landed net of crew wages, or ii) 50% of the vessel’s total operating expenditure for the year, net of crew wages. donating quota to the English under-10m fleet equivalent to a value representing 10% of the value of catch landed overseas. any combination of the above methods agreed by the MMO. Licences are valid for 2 years and renew automatically. Currently no new licences are being issued, as a measure to control the size of the UK inshore fleet, and the Government has not yet worked out how to manage the incorporation of what is currently the EU's catch in UK waters into the UK's catch, and how to allocate it. This is because negotiations regarding post-Brexit fisheries access are, technically, still ongoing.
