    Coronavirus

God planned for him to say it.
  2. I am currently not in a position to investigate or critique that article, but at the same time I have absolutely no desire or need to do so. The fact it is in the Mail places it firmly in the 'dubious' category, and as such that summarises concisely my view of it. What is your take on the theoretical position that the UK does not need farming or fisheries ?
  3. I don't read either.
  4. When was the last time you made an 'allowance' for the agenda of the Mail, or took on trust something in the Guardian ?
  5. Talk about the World being over-populated.
  6. The difference being that I merely quoted, for the giggle quotient, what is printed on the front page, as pictured on the BBC news site, ( which is where I saw it, I would not soil myself with actually handling that rag ), whereas Wes believes that the article he quoted is proven and trusted fact. I thought my post might be particularly provoking given the Brexiteer rhetoric over the boost to UK fisheries that leaving the EU is supposed to provide.
  7. Perhaps the 'mandarin' was not the incompetent side of the disagreement.
  8. He has agreed the settlement with wife #2 who can now apply for the decree.
  9. He has yet to divorce wife #2, and surely it is not sensible to bring a child into a violent relationship.
  10. Front page of the Fail on Sunday; A senior advisor at the Treasury, and chum of Dom, says that the UK doesn't need the farming or fishing industries.
  11. Obafemi is so weak when trying to run with the ball.
  12. A match between 2 teams totally lacking the ability to control the game for more than 30 seconds at a time.

  14. Is this the forum to admit it ?

    Coronavirus

Correct, it is thought to have jumped species from bats. Other CoV viruses strains have transferred from birds, as does flu, but CoV strains are not influenza, their physical protein structure is different.

    Coronavirus

No it isn't. Coronaviruses are similar to influenza viruses in that they are RNA viruses, and the symptoms of infection are similar in many cases, but they are not related. Currently there is no vaccine for the CoV strain spreading around the world, and it may be 18 months before one is available - to that end some work is underway to see if a SARS vaccine, another Coronavirus infection, can be adapted to speed up the process.

    Too much fizzy pop ?
  20. My former boss is one of these, and wasn't happy when I asked if he was being 'pacific' could I be 'atlantic'. Another of his annoying verbal tics was "part and partial".

  22. I am in possession of all my wits, do you have a full set ? What is your view of the first JRM quote ? What is the chance that some years down the line things will be shown to be worse ?
  23. So we are back to JRM's "...I may not know for years whether it has been better or worse" and "The overwhelming opportunity for Brexit is over the next fifty years" ?
