  1. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/FA-Cup-Final-Ticket-Information-856.aspx This at least confirms the 50p per ticket garnishing. This is the POL thread http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=262928 ( I'm just off to disinfect my keyboard )
  2. I can just see the Daily Hail headline now "Clegg's wife in homage to ex Hitler Youth shock !"
  3. Was this deliberate, or just your usual sloppy spelling ?
  4. window
  5. So what's the alternative ? Unless you can pass Tebbit's "cricket test", have the Union Flag tatoooed across your back, stand up whenever "Land of Dope & Tories" is played, and only ever drink bitter, you're chucked in the ENGLISH Channel ?
  6. 1972-1978 ( oh I feel old )
  7. No, it's a two edged weapon; you grant the amnesty, to save the time and effort of trying to deport them - given the UK & European courts, Human Rights, Foreign Relations issues, etc. At the same time, you bring in a new, much tougher, immigration process, that aims to stem the 'flood' ( as per the Daily Hail ), so that the chances of anyone in future being able to be here for 10 years are greatly, ( hopefully totally ), diminished.
  8. When the LD candidate comes knocking on the hatch of your sub, ask him / her. However, if they have children, they have to be at school, so there will be school records and home addresses. I would have thought there are very few who have been here that long who don't have a 'footprint' from the NHS, Council services, or the benefits system.
  9. I would love it if they fall £41k short of getting a CVA agreed, and KES have the casting vote. I'm sure my alma mater would 'do the right thing'. :-)
  10. Make it a 'donation' direct to St J's, who can then, purely by co-incidence, write off what little they are likely to get from PCFC.
  11. If you have been here for 10 years already.
  12. So, what exactly is the implied misdemeanour ? He was given a level of expense, ( note - he didn't claim it, it was given as a matter of course ), that exceeded his expenditure, so he used the excess to the benefit of his constituency. There probably isn't a process for paying the excess money back into the EU.
  13. Dune, sooner or later you will come to realise that the Express does, on the odd occasion, modify reality slightly to suit it's 'bandwagon of the moment".
  14. It is still the case that the ONLY country ever to have used a nuclear weapon in anger is the USofA. Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, etc, do not have their own independent nuclear capability. It's about time we stopped living in the past - our days of being a world power are long gone, and the only reason the UK & France have permanent seats at the UN Security Council is because of the outcome of WW2, ( and God knows why the Frogs deserved their seat at all ).
  15. Happy birthday Will Shakespeare.
  16. The extreme end of FPTP : if in half the seats the result is Cons 51% Lib-Dem 49%, and in the other half it is Lab 51% Lib-Dem 49%, then nationally Cons & Lab each have 25.5% of the votes and 50% of seats; Lib-Dem have 49% of the vote and 0 seats.
  17. Sensible folks up here
  18. Try this... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/apr/22/portsmouth-football-creditors-money-millionaires
  19. "However, Andronikou firmly denied that accusation. When asked if he had done so, he added: "Not at all. I haven't got the ability of inflating the liabilities."" Lying ****'s got previous ! CHEAT
  20. Just how many TSW posters have texted / called in to TalkSport this evening ? Just had the question of signing players after the embargo was lifted to permit "sales only". Did we write the script ?
  21. Collymore is on form - FPP test "Have you got pots of cash?"
  22. BBC blog:http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/davidbond/2010/04/buried_in_the_midst_of.html Read the comments underneath ( Come on, own up - look at post #12, who on here is 'spiritualwolf' ? ) :-)
  23. Just listening to the Barry Hearn interview ; "£100 million, that's the GDP of a 3rd world country". Well, he got that right :-)
  24. Erm, why ? And before we get all Daily Hail about this, this is what the Electoral Commission says http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/who_can_register_to_vote.aspx
