The US will save nearly 400 billion on oil imports this year;
badgerx16 replied to Window Cleaner's topic in The Lounge
Global warming means that the average temperature, year-on-year, is increasing. The consequence of this is that the global weather patterns change as marine currents are rerouted and the huge volumes of water that affect continental air masses shift. The net effect can quite easily be that some areas, for a while, will get colder, whilst others get hotter. The net effect on Britain is that we come more under the influence of the continental weather during winter, and get wetter weather during the summer. If we are trading 'credibility', try this from the Royal Society : http://royalsociety.org/downloaddoc.asp?id=1630 -
Certainly was at Millwall

One man's 'terrorist' is another man's 'freedom fighter': Menachim Begin took part in terrorist acts in the 1940s, including the attack on the King David Hotel which killed 91 people. Yitzhak Shamir was the operations commander, and later leader, of the Stern Gang, a terrorist group which was responsible for a string of political assassinations. Ariel Sharon initiated the Sabra-Shatila massacre in which between 1000 and 3000 people (mostly Palestinians) were killed.

All that has happened is that your e-mail address has been harvested from somewhere else in the great beyond; either somebody you have sent an e-mail to, or from a compromised web server. btw, it is extremely easy to falsify the field of an SMTP message, all you need to do to start a message is to TELNET to port 25 on a mailserver from a command prompt, and enter a few text commands. Unless the server is securely configured, and most ISP servers are not, it will quite willingly accept mail that seems to come from itself.

Global warming is nether 'political indoctrination', nor 'hysteria', but then again I expect that you still think the war in Iraq is a 'war of liberation' -
The game at the Dell when they had to change their shirts at half-time.

It might just be the time of year, but I actually agree with a lot of what SB says on this thread. My 'twist' on this is that JP, if we accept his qualities as a coach for young players, still urgently needs some help from somebody experienced in the English game, maybe Dowie is a good call on this - we have got to the point where 'pretty' has to go out the window, effective is far more imperative. As for Rupert, if he won't go of his own accord, and we cannot get rid of him ( without illegal violence ), then the least he can do is take a far less prominent and vociferous role on match days - and for heaven's sake stay off the touchline. ( Though I am not sure his ego will allow it ).

Watch him blow all that good work away against Barnsley and Doncaster.

What evidence have you seen of jans management skills?

What do you expect of a player who cannot get into Millwall's team ? -
It proves that Leicester fans read TSF
-
I, and everybody else, want the latter....... Unfortunately this is all too true. There is no evidence whatsoever that this team is capable of going on any sort of run of form; it is 8 games since we last won a league game, six since we kept a clean sheet, and D McG has now scored 6 league goals in more than half a season as our main striker. All we currently have to be thankful for is that Charlton seem to be worse than us.
-
Some of us didn't see the game because we couldn't get to it. Yes we did play well, and we played well against Reading away from home as well - unfortunately we have still only won 1 game at home all season, how well have we played in all those other games ?
-
To put things into perspective; Charlton will be playing Forest (H), Sheff Wed (A), Palarse (H) Donny have Brizzle (H), Saints (A), Sheff Utd (A) Forest have Charlton (A), Plymouth (H), Sheff Wed (H) Norwich have Sheff Utd (A), Barnsley (H), Saints (H) And for what it's worth Watford are away @ Reading than at home to Sheff Utd & Burnley.

maybe you are just a week early ?
-
We were unlucky; we created all the chances; the ref got it wrong; shows the boys are learning and developing; we can build on this and start climbing the league; vindicates the strategy of using the academy players; Jan got the tactics spot on; points are the target in January;.......

New Year's resolution for the team !
-
Barnsley ( Away ), Doncaster ( Home ), Norwich ( Away ). Three games that absolutely define '6 pointer'. So, how many points ? I reckon we will get 5, Draw-Win-Draw
-
Bottom 2 !!! :(
-
It does if you read JP's post match interviews.
-
How can we take 4 points from Reading, and only 19 from the rest of the division ?
-
That'll be Ted Bates spinning in his grave
-
Now 3-2......
-
Unlike the rest of the squad.
-
Sorry :(
