Win tomorrow and then withdraw? -
FYI, it's geo-locked.

It still requires testing in Court. Simply because the Government says something is legal does not make it so. The SC, in all probability, will end up being asked to rule on this Bill, and may well find it stands up to scrutiny, but that will not be because a Minister had instructed the Judges to say so.

Officers respond to a domestic, arrest a suspect, handcuff him, body search him, and sit him in the back of their patrol car. Then, as one Policeman walks back to the patrol car.......an acorn drops on it's roof;

The problem is that it doesn't have to be widespread, remember the "all I want you to do is find 11,780 votes" phone call. The winning margin for Biden in 3 States and 1 of Nebraska's 2 Electoral Districts was less than 25 thousand votes, and in Georgia it was the aformentioned 11,780.
-
No. You stated that elections will still take place, my point is that there are Elections and "Elections". Trump has already planted the seeds of doubt concerning how postal votes are counted and how ballot boxes can be 'stuffed', some of this shit will have stuck. Many Republican controlled legislatures are changing Electoral Law to restirct postal votes, impose stricter controls on where and how people can vote, and there are accusations of gerrymandered electoral districts that disenfranchise certain demographics. One state, Georgia, has even tried to pass a law that it is illegal to offer food and drink to people queueing to vote, whilst cutting the number of polling stations such that these queues will become longer.
-
Que ? Are you confusing me with Alex ? What I said is that some people are worried that Trump's behaviour, and the actions of many Republican controlled State legislatures, are undermining the 'Free and Fair' aspects of US electoral processes.
-
They have elections in Russia, China, and Belarus. It is not the fact they take place, it is how much they are manipulated, and why Trump's behaviour and rhetoric worry people.

The UNHCR process moves asylum seekers from Libya to Rwanda whilst their applications for asylum in third countries are processed, as Libya has no internal capability to safely house and process them. Just over 5000 have been relocated temporarily, and all are expected to move to third countries rather than remain in Rwanda. Not sure about the Turkey reference, as all I can find is information about Turkey repatriationg some Syrian refugees back to Syria. Almost all of the refugees currently in Rwanda have entered the country overland to avoid conflict in neighbouring countries, including the DRC where Rwanda is actually engaged in armed intervention, which is one of the reasons people claim Rwanda is 'unsafe' - it is currently engaged in a cross border conflict.

Half way round Biden would forget where he was and Trump, despite being well behind on the score cards, would declare himself the winner because the course was rigged against him. You might also make a very sick joke about stroke play.

Of course it is a factor; Putin wants to restore the Russian Empire, but he has a problem in that the Baltic states turned, as soon as they could, to the West, to thwart any expectations he had that they might be recovered. Ultimately it is the same reason Finland joined NATO, fearing that if he succeeds in Ukraine he might try to reinstate Russia's north-western territories, which only became independent in 1917. Ukraine was his last hope for glory. The problem for all the appeasers is that NATO did not aggressively entice these Eastern European states, their collective memory of Russian occupation and oppression made them willing recruits.

Say's the most blinkered and closed mind on the forum, and that includes GM.

Yeah, we've got an easy first 7, only have to play Newcastle, Man Utd, and Arsenal. Still, you do get 2 Derby games.

Not YOUR man, you idiotic charlatan.

No, I am wondering how the "aggressive expansion" of the EU and NATO eastwards might have been stopped, as that is the point of contention. These countries chose to apply, for what reason might the existing members have refused them ?
-
So Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania should have been refused membership of the EU and NATO ? What about Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Poland ? The Czech Republic ?
