  1. Ridiculous. You'd think his wages were probably something we would ask him about prior to flying him over here and not having any back up deals. So poorly done. I don't understand how some football clubs are run so haphazardly considering the amount of money involved and how visible they are in the public eye.
  2. They don't want to reveal the true extent of his injury because he's out for 3 months, they seriously messed up by not getting a replacement in, and the backlash will be total, especially if we loose the final. I think a large majority of the fan base would blame Reed.
  3. WELL, I actually like the shirt
  4. At the risk of being over dramatic, could this have cost us a cup win? For years and years we've listen to how we have tens of players lined up for each position who we have properly scouted and fit in with the 'Southampton Way'. If this is the case then where is the new defender? Maybe our top target got injured, but if so then we should have had other deals ready to go. Reed has really f****d up this time and I'm afraid his statement of not selling Fonte without having a replacement lined up will not be forgotten any time soon. Take away the cup final and nearly everything about this season has seen us going backwards. On a positive note Boufal looked exciting last night (if maybe a little selfish).
  5. Likewise. I reckon it'll be Gabbiadini and that's it. If this does turn out to be the case then it'll be a bit of a balls up by the club.

Jermaine Jenas is excellent. Danny Murphy is always fair and generally talks a lot of sense, but can be fairly dull.

He's a dinosaur and really not too bright. They've been due a changing of the old guard at BBC sport for a long while now.
  8. He'd be a bit of a prat to go there instead of joining us considering each clubs current situation. Saying that, if Sunderland offer a bigger wage then it's possible...
  9. Thanks Claude, glad we cleared that up.
  10. Club f*****g Wembley...
  11. I thought it was only +1 for club Wembley members at major events?
  12. I've been trying to get my head around why they would choose to not count them. Can't think of a single reason why.
  13. Seems like a bit of an odd choice to only include home games... What's the thinking behind that? I'm a member and have been to 6 games this season but 4 of them were away so I don't stand a chance at getting a ticket.
  14. Yawn. He's all smiles and a different class of manager until he looses a game he should have won. Painful watching his post match interview last night. Very flustered and bitter.
  15. fair play. I have the utmost respect for all who made the trip last night. Yes it was a semi final but a round trip to Liverpool on a Wednesday evening is a big ask. Totally agree with others that all who made the effort should be the first to be offered a ticket for the final.
  16. So is it +1 for all season ticket holders? How many season tickets did we sell this season?
  17. Any idea how the ticket sales work? Any priority or is it just general sale at midday tomorrow?
  18. ****ing right we have! It's been a long time coming and to watch our team walk out onto the pitch at Wembley is going to be something I'll never forget.
  19. Unbelievably proud of the whole team tonight. Everyone gave their all and Stephen's and Yoshida were outstanding. It makes it all the sweeter that we did it away against Liverpool
  20. Sounds about right.
  21. If he magically appears in the starting line up tonight it'll be such a boost to us and a real kick in the teeth to the scousers...
  22. 1st half was the best I've seen him play. 2nd half he started to drop and seemed to slow down his game (a result of missing his earlier chances?). It's a tough one to call and although I'd go with Hojbjerg I reckon Puel will start Davis.
  23. That tweet is totally different to what's in the actual article.
  24. I'd be tempted to start Hojbjerg over Davis. He had a great game at the weekend and I'd take that confidence into tonight's match. Plus with Davis having not played for awhile...
  25. I'm not so sure. As someone else said, why weaken 2 positions when we only need to weaken 1? Stephens actually has a lot of football under his belt (arguably more than McQueen did when he started against Inter Milan) and I'd trust him to do a job. Cedric and Redmond may have to be briefed to give more defensively as Liverpool will obviously target him, but I'm confident in our defence with Romeu supporting the back line.
