  1. Ha, I think it was Gazzaniga that brought us under 24
  2. You mean the woman who's been asking the same kinds of questions that everybody does in these interviews?
  3. 'Dream come true' line's out of the way pretty quickly...
  4. That or it's one he's going to enjoy to the full
  5. How's that for a stat! Not our youngest average though, strangely. I'm fairly sure we averaged 23-ish a few times last season
  6. Ego? Frank Lampard doesn't have much of an ego. Probably would have let Rickie take it considering it was a friendly, but the manager may have assigned Lampard as taker
  7. I can't stop laughing Who chose that music!?
  8. http://www.us-japan.org/www.ita.doc.gov
  9. Yeah, good point.
  10. West Ham tickets went on sale this morning as well.
  11. Not loudly, seems to have subsided into quasi-ironic chants for the most part.
  12. I should hope a man who's smart enough to read a game of football would also be aware he needs to buy a Portugese phrase book.
  13. Honestly, it'll be nothing compared to what he got from some of the Roma fans. We'll give him enough support if he doesn't start well though, can't remember the last time we really got on a player's back at games and not just on the message boards.
  14. I think they brought around 1,500 last time, in December weather and on a poor-ish run of form. Quite impressive, expect them to bring a few more this time.
  15. Fight fire with fire I suppose. Roma and Lazio ultras are about as bad as it gets in the top leagues
  16. Our team for this fixture last term: Davis Clyne Yoshida Fonte Shaw Cork Schneiderlin Ramirez Puncheon Lambert Mayuka Subs: Boruc, Hooiveld, Richardson, S Davis, Guly, De Ridder, Rodriguez Things are looking brighter now!
  17. You've been on some horrendous beak.
  18. I think people assume he's more of a drifter because that's how he operates when we're in possession, but he does work hard defensively. He doesn't usually bust a gut to make runs or get into the box, but he does his bit to try and get the ball back from the opposition.
  19. Nice
  20. Strange they see Welbeck as United's weak link and not central midfield. I thought everyone knew that!
  21. It was the same as always, 4-2-3-1 with Rodriguez drifting into scoring positions which is probably what Merson was referring to. Ward-Prowse stuck to the right but Lallana and Rodriguez interchanged regularly, as did Ramirez when he came on. Schneiderlin didn't get forward as much as he might have done last season with Cork but that was mostly down to West Brom's discipline and organisation. Lambert played on the shoulder to try and get some joy out of the centre halves because he couldn't always compete aerially. Shaw got forward a lot.
  22. I think this is largely right, though there will be some movement between these groups. Expect West Ham to finish above West Brom this season.
  23. You mean their best players, who weren't brought in as world beaters?! Name a player in Man United's 2008 Champions League-winning team who was brought in as one of the world's greatest players, and didn't become one in his time at the club.
  24. Boruc; Clyne, Lovren, Yoshida, Shaw; Schneiderlin, Wanyama; Lallana, Osvaldo, Rodriguez; Lambert K Davis, Fonte, Chambers, Cork, Ramirez, S Davis, Mayuka
