I went to my first game in 1985 as a 5 year old since then, the number of appalling players we have had has been incredible. why are those two some sort of exception IMO, Benali was a terrible player. A real liability at times and would never have been a prem player in a million years had he not been at saints. got sent off loads. but due to us being, generally crap whilst he was here, he got plenty of game time and 'tried hard' and people call him a legend the list of terrible players paid for by us could be endless. pulis and forecast are just another two to that list
