ffs, he was offside had that goal been allowed against us. this place would have been full of it saying he was offside
-
that team would probably get beat

there are not many weaker sides most teams in the league have strengthened quite a bit or already have good squads much against the popular belief, the prem is an almighty hard league look at sat, we as fans have gotten arrogant all of a sudden and expected to brush sunderland aside. (yet if liverpool fans talk about brushing us aside we would call them arrogant ****s) they have some very good players, their goal scorer was bought (very surprisingly) from Juventus and is a full on italian international who starred in the confederations cup (osvaldo didnt) yet, we expected to brush them aside and expect them to fight for relegation this league (this season) is going to bar far more harder than last year what the article does not tell you is that many of the lost defeats at home were in the 1st half of last season in our last 10 league home games (9 last seasosn, 1 this), we have lost 2. that includes beating 2 of last season top 4, beating Liverpool and drawing against everton that is pretty good for a team 1st year back in the prem if you ask me (bar the 1 game this season)

no doubt when Bale becomes the most expensive footballer on planet earth. Will that get us any extra positive publicity? Im sure there will be many pictures printed around the world with him in his saints shirts and no doubt he will mention us etc throw into the mix the emergence of shaw, JWP chambers and our skipper is from the academy. Also, do we still have the bath academy?

He/she looks like its off her face all the time Just plain disturbing
-
Anyone else watched any if this? There is one utter freak on there. Sweet Jesus
-
they dont need 10 games to 'adjust'

cardiff 2-1 city city battering them, cardiff score from a corner seems we are not the only team to let in a soft corner and struggle to break down a parked bus
-
FWIW, I thought lambert was also not that good compared to his ability again, just calling it how it is also, I would have clyne in ahead of chambers for norwich
-
nothing to do with scapegoating. its calling it how it is yesterday, he was not very good to what he has been last season when he was playing well, he did so by being direct with the ball at feet, running at pace at defenders and turning them to face their own goal I remember when he came on at home to West Ham. He had their defence all over the place yesterday, we never saw that at all. When he does not do that, he looks a little out of place. and his pace was not really evident to the team the header from the osvaldo cross was very poor for a striker/forward of any standard of top flight football

spurs 1-0 up. another penalty for soldado have to say, I know he was rubbished on here, but townsend looks great for spurs. if they get Lamela, would love him at saints
-
have to say, cardiff look far more solid than we did 12 months ago
-
agree in all honesty, we battered them for about 75 mins of the game as one sided as you can get in the premier league. just our shooting boots were not on yesterday. it happens to the best of them
-
Cardiff look quite handy nice to see city playing with 2 up top. think we will see that more and more in a 4-4-1-1 type of formation. certainly see saints doing it
-
I know howard Webb is not perfect but he is easily leagues above some of the others
-
they are not doing too well. be interesting to see how he and McDermott fair this season adkins has the squad (largly) that finished above us with an apparent inferior manager. Leeds do not have as good a squad and always fighting to sell their players
-
I usually go between 5-10 home games a season from plymouth that is going to be reduced to 5 maximum thanks for aljazera TV
-
lets be honest, none of you are hardly going to be immediately forgiving if someone just broke your face by accident
