-
they are saying the same about us selling players.........they want £15m for him and say they should not sell for a penny less
-
liverpool set to sign Origi for £10m
-
we wont as I am a realist. I remember your rants about man on the moon and all that just accept that we really wont start the season with as good as starting 11 as just left unless you think we will buy players as good as shaw, lallana...probably morgan? we really wont and I am fine with that
-
ok, you are just being odd.
-
just put the subject matter into google why is that so hard?
-
not hard to find at all. infact, it was very easy with google

basically, points taken from that headache Lowe reignited the academy we see today lost of focus and money on it with the Leibherr era in order to produce our own stars every hurdle has seen the fans claim "the sky is falling in" NC was a no nonsense chairman and led us up the leagues He wanted Katherina to fund a push for the top 4. she didnt so he left That dream/era is over and time for a new one players that left went for huge money really Koeman is a high profile appointment and does not want players who really do not want to be here going to be an exciting 2 years before the mega rich teams come in for our new stars and the cycle continues will look to buy the odd marquee signing along with a few gambles and continue to give academy players a chance we will continue to play attractive football

we shall see but I dont hold much hope that come start of the season, that we will be anything close to the strength of team/squad we had last season. and even then, we had a pretty weak squad in terms of depth we should be a million miles away from Hooiveld being close to the first team, and Sam Gallagher...one if way off the pace and the other looked far to raw....yet that is where we are heading the premier league is utterly relentless and we struggled with a few injuries last season, let alone those players who struggled when they came in to be even closer to first team action

it is indeed. it is a massively relentless league. look at cardiff, they still had quality players that can do some damage. even wigan won the cup and went down.
-
pretty gash at west ham....
-
no one ever seems to consider this point.....
-
its far more than that, isnt it
-
feck me, I think we actually agree on something quite big at the club... right now, we need a starting LB, Creative midfielder and striker just to bloody break even
-
seen kasabian live. They were awesome this is another level though. especially from 1 hour 30...amazing (praise you) http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p021gc30/glastonbury-2014-kasabian-on-the-pyramid-stage#group=p0216f6f here is the youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSE5wtbjaSI

yep. as your scenario just does not happen. he will want his bonuses, being part of a prem team, keeping his stock high incase offers come in for him again, keep his place for croatia look what happened to osvlado when you do not really play.. he was Italy's number 9, now he is no where my point is, enough is enough now. 3 of our crown jewells are gone....no team ever loses that, let alone half a team unless they are leeds or pompey......
-
when does that ever really happen? when do players on the verge of their national teams ever EVER do that?
-
if he carries on being a jack of all trades, he will forever be a sub...most like that are
-
MLT has also said that players who are subject of transfer speculation should 'shut their traps' until the transfer deal in concluded either way
-
A very good point We will be certs for the drop if that was to be the case
-
I'm leaning towards thinking that very little money from the sales will be out back in the team, on top of of prem money
-
Sorry mate. As you say even the posts you make have an agenda. It's top 4 or nothing and Everton are not in the top 4 Rather than lose their entire Crown Jewels they appear to be getting our number 1 target We appear to be run by incompetent people. The way we are just allowing so many players leave beggars belief. As you say, tadic is going to Everton, if true, what a sad state of affairs for a club who really need to be assertive and demonstrate we are not this club in crisis the rest of the English football world think we are That squad you listed is no way good enough for mid table. That was a good bit of spin from you

The line between a good season and a relegation fight is a very fine one Palace did not have a good a squad as Norwich Fulham had better players in some areas than many others Wigan went down after winning the FA Cup. There is more to it than a team of good players, as we found out in 2005 As it's stands, half of our defence has gone or wants out and our entire attack is not going to be available for the start of the season This is rebuilding on a scale never really seen from a clubs outside of a Portsmouth/Leeds scenario
