Personally I believe that the Euro will not exist in anything like the same format as it does currently.

Teachers like the rest of us should have to shoulder some of the stress of putting our economy on a sound footing. -
Well I would argue that if four people turn up to the house of a law abiding family wearing balaclavas then that is a good enough reason for somebody to stick a knife in them. I see the chap is a serial offender who has been in prison; he will not reoffend again and the people of Salford will sleep safer in their beds.

and the patronising self righteous left are well represented.

Or even the outrage that was sparked when Cameron said 'calm down dear calm down dear' during PMQs. Obviously it is acceptable for Labour MPs to pull faces and Mock somebody with cerebral palsy but not to be seen to make a sexist remark however petty.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/joepublic/2011/feb/08/disabled-people-paul-maynard-mps-discrimination it seems your friends on the left disagree.

You seem to have developed a stutter as well as an indepth understanding of the International finance. I am not comparing us to the 'PIGS' but god do you know how bad it is in Ireland? (I have no experience of the others). What are your thoughts on the cost of our borrowing when the world markets have a reduced belief that we will pay it back sooner rather than later. Anybody sensible should know that if we put our house in order then we can go forward again. You also do not have to win fifteen to one to understand that to have an affluent society for all you have to create wealth through your dealins with the rest of the world.
-
And when we do, who exactly is that will be able to afford to bail us out? Interested to know when you feel we should start to address our spiralling debt. Whatever your politics, a better society starts from a sound economic footing.
-
and you clearly have no idea of how the global markets view impacts on our economic wellbeing.

What people do not take into account is the fact that he had been repeatedly burgled. The police had done nothing to protect him and inevitably he snapped - how can you possibly tolerate the level of abuse that he had to and sit back and do nothing. When the law is redundant you take your own action.
-
I agree. Without patronising it shows how far we have come as a nation.

All the people I know tip their taxi driver.

You put too much faith in Science. Science changes regularly it evolves as does our understanding of the world itself. I mean do you really believe that the figure of -18 is accurate? How on earth do they know? It is all estimation, formulas and assumptions. In all probability it is way out.

I approve of that attitude from a teacher but not from a parent. You are both a parent and a teacher. -

I believe it is a basic right to do everything to give your own children the best start in life. -
I did not share his views but I admired his tenacity to express his opinion and the dedication and passion to which he got his message across. Most of all I took pride in the fact that for the most part he was allowed to do it in our country.

I nearly called my daughter Sophie. Is that not a pretty bigoted attitude? Is the German model not based on grading students? -
Brian Haw reprsented everything that makes Britain great. RIP

Come on Dune, I think what the Tories did to the mining communities was not something to be celebrated. These were good people with good values and the situation should have been handled less ruthlessly. -

I am sure you would agree that numbers are easier to interpret. -

I am not so sure that it is open to question. There is a political consensus that something has to be done. -

So you really cannot see that the pension system going forward is unaffordable? Sadly Prudence did not just raid our private sector pensions he never saved money for public sector pensions.
