Slightly unrelated but there is a pub in Shoreditch called The Albion (Goldsmith Row) which will be showing the game live at 3pm if anyone is interested..

He was an absolute beast today! He's deceptively strong and has a great leap...he also anticipates play very well.

Fantastic signing! Sold one quality LB for £28m, sign another for £8.75m.. Great bit of business that. Now for Toby A.... -
Absolutely agree.

This. Unfortunately.

It dawned on me earlier that if we beat Swansea tomorrow, we will have quietly gained +7 points on Man City over the last three PL game weeks and will be only 3 points behind them with a greater goal difference.. How did that happen!? Saints - Man U, Win away 0-1 / Newcastle, Win away 1-2 / Swansea, Win home? = 3, 3, 3 (9 points) City - Everton, Draw home 1-1 / Arsenal, Lost home 0-2 / Chelsea, Draw away 1-1 = 1, 0, 1 (2 points) Interestingly, we recently played City's last three opponents and registered 7 points and only conceded once.

Good luck and thank you Jack! A fantastic, consistent and dependable player for us who played a big part in getting us back to the top. He will always get a great reception back at St. Mary's.

Unbelievable, imagine Premier League teams using a computer game as a scouting tool.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11025724/Football-Manager-player-database-to-be-used-by-Premier-League-clubs-after-deal-with-Prozone-Sports.html -

You are absolutely right Griffo and some of the comments on this thread have made me realise the error of my ways.. -
John Guidetti is a player who seems to have been around for years but he is still only 22. He is clearly a talented player and has scored plenty of goals in the Eredivisie (20 goals in 23 games) and scored 6 goals in 15 appearances for Celtic this season - clearly these leagues aren't PL standard but it shows he has an eye for goal. I believe his contract expires in the Summer so if City want to shift him in January for £2m then I think that could be a great bit of business. The link up with his old manager could be the key here. JG is clearly not going to get regular first team football at City, you could argue he wouldn't get it at Saints currently but if Pellè gets injured then he could be a good out and out striker replacement.
