  1. A 12 year old kid could never elicit the responses GS gets on this site. Look, I used to have this issue with GS back in the distant past, but now I just realise he is what he is, a very clever, attentive, troll. I now look on at the trouble he causes, rather than participate, and actual marvel at what a pro he is at his art. I know it's difficult, but don't rise to it - look at it from a different angle and you'll see there is a beauty in what he does. Or you can just get wound up, throw insults and then get banned, like I did back in the day.
  2. As in Lander Sports?
  3. Stop trying to be cool - its "innit", not "in it".
  4. There is also the fact that peoples soft tissue can have different grades of strength and recovery meaning one can be prone to soft tissue injuries, and he unfortunately seems to be.
  5. To be honest, £20m is backup striker money nowadays. He's good enough to take on that role, for sure, which will also help to limit the injuries and wear and tear for when we need him to start. It's not ideal, but it is what it is.
  6. But putting a player in the shop window with a good couple of performances is probably worth more than that.

  8. Most people were wrong about Hughes, hence why I got so much grief.

  10. My God, there's a lot of bed-wetting going on here. We're safe, so we're giving a few fringe players a run out and chance to prove themselves. Gives a lot of our players a rest, ready to come back in for the Huddersfield game. Towards the end of the season is when you can sustain nasty wear and tear injuries to soft tissue, so why risk players now?
  11. We'll also make a cracking amount I would thought...
  12. Well, there is nothing elite about voting to leave the EU, is there now?
  13. Certainly more consistent than you've been on the Brexit thread, that's for sure, ain't it Les? How's Brexit going anyway Les? We've missed your Key stage 2 Economics and Politics on there recently. You said you were going to come back and laugh at us at the end of March, so what's happened? Hope all's well. Miss you buddy x
  14. The prosecution said they may have done, so obviously they did. FACT.
  15. He's not answering the questions posed. This is getting very similar to the Brexit thread now...
  16. So you can't answer what the difference is - thought so. As it is possible to rape your wife, then surely an inhibriated wife is the same situation, from a legal definition POV. No clear consent, so a rape charge if the CPS wanted to pursue it.
  17. "As well you know, if a consenting couple get wasted and have sex, of course it is not rape. " But the point is they can't consent can they, as they were incapacitated. What is the difference?
  18. He can't back it up, the same as he can't answer my questions. He's backed himself into a corner, but won't do the decent thing and admit he was wrong, which is why he's contradicting himself everytime he posts. That's why he's taken to projecting libellous opinions onto other posters.
  19. Firstly, show us the post where people have said that what Evans did was OK, or shut the **** up. Secondly, I wasn't saying it was the same. I was asking you if it was rape, and the answer, according to your definition above, is yes, surely? What would stop the CPS prosecuting someone for that.
  20. I thought that they could - I thought anyone can commit rape as long as they penetrate with something I'll grab the old text books, haven't looked at Criminal Law for 16 years... Either way, would I be guilty of rape? Edit: She would be guilty of "Sexual Assault", but it carries the same sentencing profile and tariffs as "Rape".
  21. Quick one for you. Me and my Mrs go out for a few drinks. We both get a bit ****ed, and have sex. Next day we both wake up and can't remember having sex. Are we both guilty of rape?
  22. I think CB Fry was being too generous about the intelligence of the ERG to be honest. To negotiate a new deal with the EU anyway we have to abide by the rules set out in the WA anyway, so not sure why they're not voting for it now.
  23. Exactly - in all honesty I'm not sure what the correct decision is here and whether he is a rapist or not. However, from the facts in the case, I don't think there was enough evidence to prosecute, so justice has probably been served. He's a scumbag though, that's for sure.
  24. What, spiked every one of these nights? I would assume the girl would have been cross-examined as part of the new evidence - IE. Did you have sex with these men on Friday, these men on Sunday, and did you have sex with Ched and his mate in between?
