  1. I know it doesn’t make for good viewing, and will likely teether on giving me a heart attack. But I would take a 11% possession, only 2 shots all game but a 1-0 win right now!!!!
  2. Vestergaard gets across to make good block but he was screaming there! No one was there on the right tracking the run all followed the ball.
  3. Agreed very frustrating
  4. “We do have Peter Walton today” As if he the bloke has ever offered any insight 😂
  5. I notice we aren’t pressing as much when Leicester playing around their half. Perhaps we are trying to ensure we don’t tire out so soon.
  6. Diallo lost the ball middle of the park there, slight let off. Vardy down though EDIT: Diallo booked ffs
  7. 51 seconds! Now that it is out the way, let’s destroy these
  8. I could be wrong but I think it was UEFA who stopped us from using the FA Cup Runners-Up be given a direct spot in the Europa League group stage. I think it's fair enough tho that 7th place gets the berth, we benefited from it when we qualified for the Europa League after the 2014-15 season anyway.
  9. Rumours for Leicester that Ayoze Perez will start for them and James Maddison will be on the bench. I think Maddison is easily the better player but Perez has 2 hat-tricks against us so may work in our favour. Also that they will be playing a 3-4-1-2 (which I think they have done on many occasions anyway) It should be a good tactical battle.
  10. From the Daily Echo: Asked if he plans to change his outfit for his first game at Wembley as a manager, Hasenhuttl told the Daily Echo: "To be honest, I had not much energy left so far to think about how I dress! "Normally that’s the reason why I always dress in tracksuits because I don’t have to use energy of thinking about how I should dress. "But it is possible that if we go to the final then I have more time to think about this and then maybe change it. "But first, let us do the game on the weekend in a normal way."
  11. I mean I'm not going to go into a full on debate here but: I've used it 'figuratively', and I don't think it is entirely wrong - FA Cup semi-finals are very much unfamiliar for us. Since 1961 including today, this is our 6th semi-final. My point is they don't come around for us often and I have acknowledged they are rarer for Leicester. Plus, you can see here how many more clubs have been 'involved' in semi-finals than us.
  12. I have to admit I am nervous as hell for this game, and it's only increasing as the day drags on! On paper for sure Leicester have the better team, better form and they are 3rd on merit. However, this is uncharted territory in the FA cup for Leicester too, almost as much as it is for us, and what would be the point if I didn't have any optimism!
  13. Perhaps, but I’d still rather be where they are in the table! Amazing what 2 wins in a row as it stands for Newcastle can do to the table. Now just 1 pt behind us and bottom 3 looking very much good as gone
  14. I said this on the 25th and stand by it. I also don't think Ralph managed the front 4 well at all, stuck with the same line up and made subs very late. My preference: Forster, KWP, Bednarek, Vestegaard, Bertrand, JWP, Diallo, Armstrong, Djenepo, Ings, Adams However, I think Ralph will stick to the team that started today.
  15. I’d like to see a poll along these lines: a) Ralph in, and to lead us on next season no matter how this season ends b) Give Ralph until end of the season, but if we don’t go past 39/40 points then get rid (unless we win the cup) otherwise keep for next season c) Give Ralph the FA Cup semifinal, if we lose then sack him because the run of form + results have been terrible for some time d) Sack Ralph now
  16. I think Alex McCarthy did against Newcastle?!?! Last game before lockdown
  17. Johnstone saves the pen.
  18. Saints penalty well done Djenepo very agile and direct to win that foul
  19. Sky Sports commentator just called KWP, Ibrahima Diallo
  20. I want to disagree because this is what we were like under Ralph at the start of the season. Honestly, Ings aside none of these players are stars and all are average. Bertrand was a star 5 years ago but now sadly past it. Ralph’s plan A/identity/philosophy is honestly in tatters
  21. 3-0 WBA
  22. Surely LD Sports have to be up there! (Honourable mention to the squirrel though)
  23. Have we ever scored from a Bertrand cross? Absolutely hate his slow floaty balls that gets dealt with so easily - must work in training
  24. I think in general some English managers always get played down purely because of their name- fancy European managers sound better and so they never get the big opportunities at the big clubs. No English manager has won the PL since its inception (MLG Note- yes I know football did not begin in 1993)
  25. Ralph needs a defensive coach to help him. There’ll be people saying ‘why did you not say this in November when we topped the table for 24hrs’, and the answer is that in that run we rode the crest of the wave and yes hindsight helps, but since the turn of the year we can all see how terrible the defence has been.
