  1. Yeah 100% agree with that angle but for me I was hoping he would stay on just so he can score another! I wouldn’t mind so much if he doesn’t play the next game or two because I want him back all fresh and without fatigue too.
  2. Lee Dixon on JWP: “I just love the way he kicks a ball” One of the more odd fetishes that
  3. 4 substitutions for England but JWP isn’t one of them
  4. I dunno why but I won’t be happy unless we get...the magic number that is 9
  5. I’m hoping for JWP to score a free kick, not had one as of yet.
  6. James Ward-Prowse my lord... James Ward-Prowse!
  7. Back to topic- I'm not gonna add anything beyond I hope Ralph uses the next 2 PL games almost like an audition for the semi-final game. Whilst I think the GK, back 4 and our 2 centre-mids are largely set in stone; I don't think any of the front 4 should find it a given to start (except perhaps Armstrong!) Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't start Redmond unless he can show some good performances in the next 2 PL games- I'd right now prefer Armstrong/Djenepo/Ings/Adams for the semi. However, Ralph needs to supervise everyones time correctly i.e. the front 4 to ensure everyone gets ample opportunity to impress as we have Walcott/Tella/Minamino (although cuptied) to manage too.

    Danny Ings

I could be wrong but didn’t MLT say once (or may have tweeted) that the wage gap wasn’t as big in the 1990s and it was only United who could offer astronomical wages at the time. It does make sense to an extent, to not move from a city you are comfortable in to some place up north for a bit of money. However now, we’re talking players potentially earn up to £100k a week more (or even more) and as a result loyalty is now misplaced.
  9. I’d say best draw to get too- I’d back us to give them a very good game if we have our full squad back (and hopefully Barnes/Maddison will be missing for them). If we have all our attacking options back at least, plus with 5 subs- Ings/Adams/Armstrong/Redmond/Walcott/Djenepo/Tella - there’s potential for 3 positive subs to freshen things. However, my biggest worry now is how the PL will **** over when it comes to rescheduling our Palace game, I just bloody hope it will be any midweek after the cup game.
  10. I think BBC get the first choice. We’ve won on BT Sport for the 3rd round, and the 4th round and also the 5th round. Yesterday, we also won on BT Sport. I’d suspect that BBC will go for City vs Chelsea, meaning we might just be on BT Sport again. It’s our year
  11. Man Utd have just made 4 subs in one go. Pure desperation from Ole that
  12. It was mentioned by the BBC commentator within about 20 seconds of the second half starting 🙄
  13. LEICESTER OR MANCHESTER UNITED!
  14. I would prefer the calibre of teams to be a bit like the picture below!
  15. Equally, we’ve also beaten Chelsea and Leicester (away), and beaten City at home too. United are currently losing, but we’ve proven we can compete with them (prior to that game anyway). Depends how you like your glass, half-full or half-empty.
  16. If we have to play City to win the tournament, I’d rather play them in the semi-final than in the final as they’ll have fixtures either side/a congested schedule. Mind you, their squad is just that good they’re hardly feeling it. Otherwise, as echoed above we are the team that everyone will want to draw. If we have every attacking player back in time for the fixture I’ll be feeling a lot more confident to go ahead and win in a one-off tie.
  17. Redmond- “this season I haven’t ran at defences as much and as attacking players we have our dips and forms” Nice to know he acknowledges it- hope he can grab his chance now
  18. No no, that’s only if we win the FA Cup. The two events aren’t mutually exclusive right...
  19. That Surridge guy is a ***t. Similar dirty foul on Bednarek earlier too.
  20. I’d forgotten you could have 5 subs!
  21. Has that ever happened before? 2 centrebacks taken off!
  22. Redmond so close to his hat trick. Armstrong incredible run
  23. Yep I’m surprised they didn’t show more replays of it at least but oh well 3-0 up it’s not end of the world
  24. 3-0! REDMOND!
  25. 3-0 Adams what a goal Edit i think it will be chalked off for offside
