I recall a few jesus wepts from CBF when it was suggested wed be in a relegation battle this season. One or two more when it was suggested we'd not adequately replace Fonte and a few more when people wrote of Redmond and Pellegrino early doors. His "jesus wept" hit rate is as strong as Shane longs scoring ability.

Burnley are the classic yo-yo club. They've been bouncing to/from the championship/premier league since 2008
-
Burnleys "momentum" curve would look more like a roller-coaster. Or the start of a website address WWW Not quite the clean upward trajectory that Leslie inherited
-
Balotelli doesn't use toilet roll. He uses 20s
-
Hes right though! Pellegrino took over a side that had won just once in the final 10 games, contrast that to the side Puel inherited which had won 8 of the last 10 games. Unfortunately the summer doesn't just reset motivation, confidence and expectation. Pellegrino inherited a squad very very low on morale with a number wanting exits
-
The big difference between Puel and Pellegrino is Puel inherited a club high in confidence (just finished 6th and in Europe) players were happy and confident. Contrast that to the team Pellegrino inherited from Puel. The hangover from last season is strong. I think thats the only reason Pellegrino is still here, as R&R saw the cluster **** that Puel left behind

Who? Whose better than TW and available for less than £20-25m?
-
Maybe a small but noisy minority? Batman for example was posting frequently about his dislike. Think the majority of fans were largely content during the Koeman era. Worry for me was always the momentum curve and my caution to resist getting over excited has proved wise.
-
Did they? Half a dozen people at most..... Hardly a representation of the fanbase.
-
Have a couple mates who are same. Few posts on Facebook seem to encourage this too as we simply aren't being listened too. Reed and Ralph will vanish into the night once we are relegated. Bags of cash paid for complete incompetence
-
One of the big “fan appeasing” messages was would receive a large chunk upfront. Perhaps that was another lie? A cheeky alternative might be to use some of the £200m from prior player/manager sales or some of the £250m we’ve got from the premier league/sky/gates this past 18 months? Just an idea

Silva vs Pellegrino
-
I think these are the unknown factors that are keeping him in a job. Those making the decisions have alluded to as much in recent interviews. Seems the morale of the players died completely under Puel and the rebuilding job "the hangover" is taking far longer to resolve than some expected. Is Pellegrino a strong enough paracetamol?

A wins a win

Our biggest problems......
-
Its been like this since Cortese left. Big difference is the league form has now caught up and momentum from Cortese period finally died 18 months ago. Nothing will change while the muppets are pulling the strings
-
The Otta is getting triggered
-
Taking the cheaper "fingers crossed" option has moved us from 6th to relegation flirting in 18 months. Its time we stopped trying to be smart and buy some proven premier league talent. Same time we could further weaken one of our relegation rivals
-
F**k it. Exciting, fast football and wins are overrated. We dont buy success, we breed it. #WeMarchOn
-
Its never been about just money. Look at Spurs. And why Lallana, Morgan ect all stayed while Cortese was here. If its easier for you to believe its simply just money then ignore me and pop the head back in the sand.
-
Id prefer money in the bank though.....
-
Wont happen

Dont we have something like 25-70m to spend (adjust accordingly to source)

So if they are incompetent and taking advantage we should overlook it? 1 or 100 if there is wrongdoing then questions should be asked.
