He's never been a sprinter or particularly fast He's a poacher and scores goals. He will again. Just unlikely for us Like you said above... He's still here as club gave him a ridiculous contract, not because of abilities
-
That's nonsense. "Busted flush" ffs He's 30. He will do a great job for someone but simply doesn't suit our (RH) style. He will score goals and do very well if played to his strengths. He just isn't going to work effectively under RH.

Austin was apparently close to a Newcastle move before coming here, so possible they look at it again (hopefully) All the social media stuff doesn't bovver me - hes at the end of his Saints time now (either way) so anything he does now will upset some. He knows his time is up too, so is trolling a little. Hes probably bored and a little torn. Does he want to take a wage drop? does he want to uproot and move again? Hes 30 now so this next move is big and potentially his last - don't begrudge him taking some time to get that right. If we didn't have 6-7 in a similar positions we wouldn't care too much - its not Austins fault that our recruitment has been horrible last few years.

That was amazing

I thought cricket was boring

Take 3/1 (NZ) whenever dealing with England at any level and sport.....
-
So nobody is touting them. A few amateur articles saying if they invest v.heavy they could/might/potentially. Could say that about any side that finished top 10 last season. Wolves with heavy investment might/could/maybe.
-
Where? They have no chance. Not with that squad.
-
Hindsight is great....but at same time we signed Clasie for c10m
-
Everton are similar to us in that they have a bloated squad of players they are probably struggling to offload. Players like Bolasie, Niasse, Tosun, and even Schneiderlin, Walcott too. I think they might struggle next season - especially if they are selling players like Gueye and replacing them with Delph. That's where it all went wrong for us.

Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
Heisenberg replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
Best of luck Sam. Hopefully a decent sell on clause.... Just in case. However I think the championship is his current limit -
-
Good lad. Just finished his book worth a read or listen

And to think of the abuse I took for criticizing Big Leslie. If you consider wages, league finishes, sacked manager, (crap) player purchases... Les free reign could easily cost us £100m He had his defenders right till the end.
-
I actually don't give a flying **** what players do off the pitch. Train well, play well and they can post on insta and twitter and pose by a Ferrari the rest. How would most of us act at 25 if we were paid £75k a week? It's a different world and I genuinely don't care how they enjoy it all
-
Would you prefer players think they are worse than they are? Since when has confidence become a bad trait?
-
We shouldn't be angry with the players on ridiculous wages here. More angry with the idiots that gave them these contracts. Like I said at the time.... Les Reed was slowly killing this club and it could still take 2-3 years to recover from his mismanagement
-
Expected them to be pulled apart this summer as they (like us 3-4 seasons ago) have a lot of talented young players. They seem better than us at holding top talent - kudos to em
-
Nice to see that Slattery has been hung drawn and quartered by the forum Gossip girls. Who needs confirmation, facts or explanations when the "fans" are happy to bypass and throw as much mud as possible. Join the queue Slattery..... Get behind Austin, Lemina, Forster for a SWF beating

£18m

Name and shame. Forum has a no bullying policy and Mods should be doing more to help. Or taking PM options away from anyone abusing it
-
We really do get bitter when a player wants out. Why do we do this with so many departing players? Even poor Fonte couldn't escape the bitterness. Lemina is quality. If he wants to play for a bigger club then fair play. If he stays - brilliant. Either way all the nonsense and non substantial BS posted about him is just pure bitterness and makes us look a proper muggy bunch
-
Without Ralph I'd be dreading next season and expecting another inevitable relegation struggle. But with RH we have a real chance of something sweet. A top 10 finish again even!? Just hope we get him the mix he needs over the summer. Get this club heading in the right direction again. COYR
-
That could be interesting - hes not the type to hold back thanks for the heads up
-
Draws a lot of fouls and wins free kicks as his pace looks frightening But on the ball looks a little confused, if not direct. A few poor passes in there too. Definite potential but looks v.raw I guess we wouldn't get a sniff if he was more advanced.
