Right. My point was more that Ralph was not saying things off the cuff. His comments were in line with what I assume (to CB's point) was the board's position, determined at some earlier time.

Ralphie was reading off a card and Morgan has been absent the past several weeks. The board decided a position before meeting with Morgan, writes it on aforementioned card for Ralphie, but when the board states their position to Morgan he becomes unhappy and makes dumb tweet. Any confusion about a perceived "understanding" was based (IMO) on what Morgan's agent was telling him. It could have even been fueled by Morgan's jealousy at the awesome pictures Poch was posting to his Instagram of Northern London.

Agreed. I have images of Shaw, with a tear rolling down his cheek, telling Van Gaal, "bbb..but Poch never yelled at us..."

Like in my professional life, I've learned to listen for key words during such talks and haven't heard him mention anything about layoffs or taking the free coffee away so it's a positive one for me. Seriously, it sounds weird when he says football.

To me that sounded like someone who didn't want to blame someone else because that person would catch a lot of flak. Meaning, it wasn't his decision but knows who said "I got a quick way to put £90M into the club."

This couldn't be a worse idea. Koeman doesn't want anybody rockin the ship and my assumption is he's comfortable selling the Cortese/Poch hangovers to build a stronger cohesive unit.
