Places to watch Saints in the US

As an aside, I don't know how you're getting to Virginia Beach or where it is in your plans, but if you were to drive there from DC know that traffic is horrendous heading south on I-95, towards Richmond, and Rt 64 East, towards VA Beach, can be very painful on weekends as well. My $.02, if you're comfortable taking the longer route then consider taking Rt 50 out of DC, across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge into the "Eastern Shore" area of Maryland. Eventually you'll work your way to Rt 13 South which will lead you through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (different than the aforementioned). When you get to the other side you'll be a stones throw from VA Beach. Again, not sure of your itinerary and maybe you're very familiar with the area but traffic in the DC area sucks and you have to take advantage of certain windows where it's less congested. This is just another option and may let you see something more interesting than the back of a Chevy Camaro for 3 hours stuck in stop and go traffic. -

In DC, you can check out "Fados" in Chinatown. It's a chain Irish bar and if you check their website (http://www.fadoirishpub.com/washington/) they should have the schedule of matches to be shown a week or so in advance. Don't be surprised if there's a large contingent of Chelski or Manure fans and the Saints game is on in some corner with no sound. Not sure where you're staying but in Old Town Alexandria , Virginia (just cross the Potomac from DC) there's Murphys, which is a decent Irish bar (they have Kilkenny on tap!) http://murphyspub.com/ Old Town is a cool area to check out anyway. PM me if you need more help in DC, I lived there for many moons. -
O Christmas, he's in bed with Fonte. What is in the water over there?

I get it, a Watford reference. Up the Hornets!
-
Andre Agassi played for the Saints?! WTF!?! Settled, I'm getting Agassi on the back of this years kit.

Homoerotic

Won't be, he joined the French Foreign Legion. He was always going on about how he loves guns and cigarettes, only natural I suppose.

J - Rod to Orlando City SC! FACT! That's what I'm taking from it.

I thought those pictures of the new Saints trainer named Rrendan Bodgers, with an odd, almost fake, mustachio may have been a Liverpool plant.

Don't pay it for 4 weeks when it does come.
-
That's ludicrous. We'd clearly have to back our suggestions with FIFA (updated) and Football Manager stats.
-
Do you work for the Southampton Saints Football Club? Cause that'd be awesome.

*high five* That and going to the pub and drinking at 7:45AM for 12:45 PM kick offs, at least on the east coast. -
I believe he gets a standard "X" amount of weeks for holiday following his departure from the World Cup. He's enjoying baguettes and cigarettes, or whatever it is French people enjoy, along St Tropez beaches.

DL: "Poch used to touch me like that..."

I thought the same thing. "Don't do it, go back!"

He is wicked fast in FIFA. I usually score loads of goals with him and sell him for £50m. Maybe Rock'em Sock'em Ronnie is getting squad advice from his son?
-
What'd you talk about during the drive? I imagine lots of awkward silence with Drogba. Turn up the radio, try and squeak one out and hope he doesn't catch on and wonder why you put the window down in January?
-
Oh the irony! I hope he says he's admired us all season and his head was always in Southampton.

The blonde guy towards the front looks like Boruc.

I would kill a man for that hair. This will not only bring back the beautician industry to Hampshire, ravaged from the month absence of Lallana and Shaw, but bring back the whaling trade. Hair can only look that good with the finest whale oil. This is a big day for Southampton. With that, if anyone has a 100 ft square rigged ship and 35 free souls available for 6 months on the Atlantic Ocean, please PM me.

When would you feel confident enough to put him in? Up 5-0 against the likes of Burton Albion FC in a cup game?
