  1. Kat's personal motto is "balls to the wall." She'll sell a few of those big dump trucks her family makes and before you know it Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking for a house in Hampshire.
  2. Assuming what Ms Amy said is true, I read it as £70M before player transfers but that is also contrary to rumors that all player sales will go into the transfer budget (the £90M bit).
  3. That's some serious Swiss cheese.......
  4. I heard he's just trying to learn more English curse words. Why else would you want to learn a language?
  5. The link below is from January 2014 and Dejan was the only Premier League CB listed in the top 10 CBs of Europe. http://footballstudio.net/?p=348
  6. Not if the new kits also have LEDs on them!
  7. Two 5's = a 10.
  8. I just got flashbacks of sitting in my University apartment and saying "just get this one paper done and you have the whole weekend." When you say developing the employee does that include motivation and reward or is it something like conflict resolution, at least the emotional intelligence part?
  9. Doesn't Leicester City have a few quid now? They should be able to pay in full.
  10. More a high top fade, but could certainly be more crisp.
  11. I like a 3 CB system but I can't see Yoshida being part of that. Those 3 need to be solid and the manager must have a tremendous amount of confidence in them to hold a back line. As much as I like him, I don't know if I could trust Yoshida back there (that's what she said).
  12. JRod: "If you think we've forgot about the Anglo-Dutch wars and the Amboyna Massacre, you'd be sadly mistaken." Erwin: "Ya, I'll see you on the pitssch."
  13. No worries, have a safe flight and if you need any help/info with the Philly/NJ/NYC area don't hesitate to ask as I'm based there.
  14. Seafarers the beer made by Fullers. It has noble means in that they donate a portion of sales to the maritime charity, Seafarers UK. I'll also take some Itchen or any beer associated with Hampshire/Southampton. My last post was supposed to say "one Saint helping another." In other words, enable my alcoholism that's fueled by English Bitters and I'll pick you up from the airport and bring you to where you need to go, assuming you fly to Philly (PHL) and go no further north than south Philly and no further south than Wilmington, DE. I jest of course but I need real English Bitters!
  15. Well, this sorts out the kit situation then
  16. If you can bring a case of Seafarers with you I'll pick you up from the airport, one Saint l helping another
  17. US Airways has a hub in Philly but I'd imagine you could fly to the US at any of the big east coast airports (PHL, EWR, JFK, LGA, even BWI or IAD) within your budget. May I ask, where are you trying to get to?
  18. Just don't kill the tall blonde guy with a funny accent, wearing an oddly tight shirt! O the irony!
  19. Bruce had trip insurance and I'm almost positive it counts managerial appointments before July 1.
  20. I bet the paperwork he's referring to has something to do with Government work papers.
  21. Wasn't @DanBrett90 the skate that said Poch was staying, he had an insider, but he was gone 2 days later?
  22. Played as a skate and managed an unsuccessful spud team, would be a great appointment.
  23. Now he just sounds like someone that needs to get punched to bring him back down to reality.
  24. Bought a 6 pack of Spitfire this weekend, had 2 bottles and they were terrible. I'm fairly certain the beer was skunked and was sitting on the shelf for over a year. It's a shame because I really wanted to try it. It had a "dum dum" lollipop taste to it, for those familiar with that, which I always pick up on in beer that's too old.
  25. Agreed. Shaw and Chambers/Clyne would push up the wings with pace and no one would come up the middle to help. By the time someone showed up the back line was in place to defend the cross. I got sick of seeing back passes too. Davis, Cork, and Schneiderlin to an extent, looked lost at the back and would instinctively pass it to Fonte or Lovren which exposed us to the counter attack.
