I think of another movistar "cycling" team

Nice, someone is a fan of aerobatic aviation.

So when Lallana said his dream move was Liverpool and he wanted to be there during this past season, he instinctively knew the Saints were lowering their ambitions? Kat, Ralph and Les probably told Poch in the late fall "take your foot off the accelerator, let's quit this winning stuff"?

Whichever strikers are brought in, I hope they're fast. I don't want a like for like replacement of Lambert, re: old and slow. Whilst he was a sniper I don't want a striker spending most of his time outside the box putting crosses into the box.

Through pass accuracy is very telling to me. 1) We rarely tried it last season and 2) Adam sucked at it when he did try. -
The (future) Mrs and I plan to wed in Ireland. Unfortunately the UK has a 21 day residency requirements and we're US citizens so the Emerald Isle makes the most sense, hopefully I can sneak in a Saints game though. My question, has anyone had experience wedding in Ireland recently? They changed the residency requirements (5 days?) but I'm interested in anyone's personal experiences handling paper work, etc as a non-Irish citizen. I've googled it and got a good idea on what needs to happen but I appreciate any insight. Thanks

Wow. Well wasn't someone going on about having good looking men in the 1st team? Looks like Ralphie is going for another target demographic. Carling out. Malibu Bay Breezes in! -

Agree with everyone's comments regarding Koeman's warm personality. He's always smiling! I'm smiling as I'm typing this, it's infectious! -

Good, it worked. Can I get ITK status now? There's a gold badge or some sort of special marking, correct? -

I stared and stared at that picture. I thought "is there a Chinese joke in there? Is he Asian? Is Serbia in Asia or Europe?" I was way off. -

Or Domino Effect like when one country turns communist all its neighbors will too? Great, Tadic is leading us right into another Vietnam. -
Sweet deal. When I'm in Indy next month for the MotoGP race maybe I can score a Saints kit from him.
-
He also mentioned Lovren was due to report around 21 July. Time shall tell.

I will say, the adrenaline rush of all the fake tweets has woke me up from dozing at work. -
Chivas USA are a real crappy team who get a lot of bad press for their hiring/firing practices (they supposedly only hire Mexicans, no Gringos). Their lack of support has nothing to do with stripes. Stripes are common in American sports, look at the Yankees. My local and favorite baseball team have donned red and white stripes since the early 1900s (see below). In fact stripes come in many more varieties in American sports, I point you to my NFL team below. Moral of the story, stripes, or lack thereof, have no bearing on the outcome of a professional sporting event. Second, Americans get confused with the kit changes every year. American teams keep the same uniforms for decades so I wouldn't interpret what a few people prefer in color to be indicative of how well a team will be received in that country.

K.Billy kind of eluded to something else, no? Did I infer wrong?

We haven't lost a half dozen of our players. One was old and not a true striker, two was a whiner that gave up on the Saints for "fashionable" football and a pay raise and the third one, well maybe it's too early in the "plan" to retain such talent but we were compensated fairly. How do you know the replacements won't be as good? They haven't been named yet. I am in no way calling out Chez but addressing the general pessimism, would those predicting a relegation battle be happier to see us battling to stay afloat so they can say I told you so or happier if we finish 8th or better?
-
What's that based on though? I get selling some of your most influential players looks bad at face value but is the pessimism from a lack of action or certain actions taken by the team to this point? Anything can happen. Did anyone ever think the Tour de France would be peddling through Yorkshire?
-
5th - 8th position. Rockin Ronnie and the Scintillating Saints will have a point to prove. While everyone criticizes the board (unfairly) they don't wear the boots on Saturday and Sunday. They're going to come out swinging and Ronbo will be a better manager at making a cohesive team.

I was really hoping with the McDonald's kit we could have a slogan or something, like whenever J - Rod puts it in the top left corner, over the goalies' shoulder he points at him and says "Do you want fries with that!?" or "Super size me!" O well.
-
Ronald "McDonald" Koeman approves.
