I agree although I doubt SFC will pay that sort of fee even in installments. -

Look into my eyes, not around my eyes but into my eyes! -
No I rate Adkins highly and hopefully he has it in hand to bring one or two experience guys. I wouldn't say I am worried, a bit concerned yes as i mentioned in my original post. Pointless? no.....because we are on here debating it and that is why the likes of you and I pay our fiver every year to do so.
-
I misunderstood your question that is why I deleted my response. To be honest and I know I am going to get slated for this.... ffs who cares its a forum.... Fox, K.Davis, Cork and Chaplow are not exactly going to frighten premier opposition, I cannot comment on S .Davies as I have not been a follower of Scottish football and never really noticed him when he was playing in the prem. Imo we need a couple of players who have and are still playing in the prem, not ones that use to and ended up in lower league football. I dont care what anyone says, experience in this league counts for a lot and you can never have too much of it. If you want to go back in time this is how LM made us successful.
-
I love your dryness! I like what we have got in so far, no problems with that at all, but will a team made up of lower league experience (and I include Davies in that) rather than a couple with top flight experience hold its own in the prem? Hey guys, I am debating, I am not sure myself.
-
True, but been in the SPL for aprox 3 years which is............erm..........how do I put it, not on a par with the Prem
-
that we haven't brought in a player with recent premier league experience yet?
-
I have now wiped Claus from my memory bank, feckin dickhead
-
Claus is a bit of a road crash for sure.
-
God I hope not, the papers will have a field day with his name.
-
I am doing it for the Arsenal game in Sept with wifes family who are arse season ticket holders, never done it before so I am hoping a few pints in the Pins pub before hand will soften the pain of being heavily laid into if saints score.
-
Or he could be Austrian representing a French player.......who knows
-
Oh god no!!!! Please not a Jedward in the team.

Bloody hell, I cannot believe how much grief there is about the new kit. I am sure the stripes will return sometime for those that will miss it so dont despair. I am not worried about tradition because apart from 76 there is not that much to be honest. We are not a famous club and so we are also not famous for wearing a striped kit. This is a new saints with a foreign owner and we have to accept that there will be changes and as far as I am concerned we could wear purple because we are still in existence and back in the Prem which is all down to our Swiss owners and NC. I am 55 btw and have watched saints since I was able to stand.
-
If thats the case why the hell dont we keep him and start using him
-
Either that or a vile Sunderland/Exeter/Stoke shirt !
-
What have you done agent trousers, your cover is now blown.
-
I love both tbh, I have never really liked the stripes and I bet a bit of psychology is involved in the choice. Brave choice by NC and gang as it is bound to upset many traditionalists but it pleases me if knowone else.
-
Hope he is not still in Japan as it might be a bit of a wrench to come back!
-
If it is a bolt, he's screwed
-
I think the big test for NA starts before a ball has been kicked in anger, namely what sort of side he can put together and will it be strong enough to cope with the prem. But imo he deserves some loyalty from the club for a few good years considering how he has turned things round, NC just needs to give him the tools so he can do the job the best he can and the way things are looking NC is doing that.
-
Didn't know whether to laugh or cry, I decided on the latter. That is the toughest of starts.
