Reality check on its way

Personally I've given up on this and will be glad when the transfer window shuts. Saying that and trying to stay positive, I am sure NA has got other names on his list, but it does beg the question, why do clubs leave it right down to the wire to get targets in?, the final day of the transfer window is a joke with all these last minute deals and faxes being sent trying to get deals done in time.

At least this puts the feckin Skacel joke to bed.

Absolutely brilliant, really proud of our team. First game back in the prem against the champions and we gave them a real fight. Ward-Prowse looks like a prospect and impressed with Clyne. Davis looked impressive and Lambo can do it in the top flight. A couple more signings (fingers crossed for Ramirez) and we will give anyone a run for their money! Happy day even though we lost!

9 Days from our first match against last seasons prem winners and I was hoping that we would have our complete side already working together. I have no doubt that NA will get a couple more in before the transfer window closes as he has stated, but not the best way to start in the top flight with a incomplete side if he does not get them in and grounded before season start.

Too much for someone who spends half the season injured

I found out that my ex wife was having an affair, I managed to find his phone number and contact him. I told him that I was prepared to give it another go with my then wife and that I wanted him to no longer contact her. He subsequently killed himself in his car inside his garage with a hose pipe and exhaust fumes etc. He had a wife and 2 young children and it was the children that discovered him. I felt really really sorry for those children and his wife and it left me in a confused state and feeling guilty although it was none of my doing. As you can imagine, the marriage never really worked after that and we went our separate ways followed by divorce.

Looking forward to some of the events, ie Boxing, athletics etc, but tbh I am fed up with hearing about it and will almost be glad when it's over.
