I feel really sorry for gazza and just feel he is on a downward spiral like George Best. I sometimes wonder if it is a case of an ordinary chap who had imense talent who was unable to keep his feet on the ground when he became famous.

Tbh I dont think Ramirez had recovered 100% from the first dead leg injury as his form seems to have dipped since then. This current injury maybe a continuation of the old one.

Its not the first time a player from abroad has struggled to settle in this league, I suspect he is as frustrated as us. Hopefully MP and his boys can sort him out, and perhaps sort his head as I suspect that may be his biggest problem.

I find it difficult to believe that MP will not bring in a couple more to push us in the right direction, even if it is decent cover on the bench. Our sub bench will not exactly frighten the opposition.

Very true... Also, as a person I loathe Ferguson but cannot deny the fact that he has been one of the best team managers ever. I adore Le God and regard him as the biggest highlite in the 50 years I have been supporting saints, but, although I dont take to NC, I admire what he has done for saints including being largely responsible for our survival, and his determination now in doing what he feels is right to keep us in the prem and more. I loved NA (in a none sticky mess way) and what he also had achieved for us, but have never been 100% convinced, I found him rather puzzling in some of his decisions on the pitch and what he sometimes said off it.
