  1. Redmond ****s up a 1 on 1, Arsenal come back down the other end and score. What a pile of shít.
  2. Does anybody - anybody - actually support May and her approach? Does anyone think she is doing a good job? I haven’t met or spoken to anyone, on either side of the debate, who feel anything she is doing is worthy of support. The only support she appears to have is from the outsider MP’s she has been forced to elevate into cabinet positions. How long can she possibly continue like this?
  3. I’ll support this lot, if only because their breakaway has at least added marginal interest to a desperately polarised political system. Finally the middle ground emerges, let’s hope Blair jumps on the bandwagon.
  4. ‘It’s not you.. it’s me.’
  5. Fed up of seeing her dumb face on the news. Prefer the Harvey version.
  6. Or battling EBC over their mental development plans, a task for which she has demonstrated spectacular ineptitude.
  7. All of this
  8. This guy knows his stuff. I got stabbed because I owed drug money. Dealer didn’t seem bothered that I used a verb in place of a determiner.
  9. Yeah. This ****ing team.
  10. Are you fûcking joking?
  11. Big goal
  12. Fûckîng appalling front line. How many chances do we need to score?
  13. Anybody checked out the official government advice on EU travel? It’s great fun.
  14. I’ll bet you are. Remind me what it is you trade exactly?
  15. Yes let’s hear some more from Pat. Maybe some of his bowls club chums also.
  16. Heard the author talking about her book on Start the Week. I'd imagine we are all dimly aware of how Facebook, Google etc. monetise our data, but few will be aware of the scope or implications. A very compelling read. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0002b8l https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/feb/02/age-of-surveillance-capitalism-shoshana-zuboff-review
  17. I think it's a consequence of all the bile and rhetoric from the usual brexit evangelists. They have learned well from Trump - Never defend your position, simply attack the opposition's position.
  18. Not only, and apparently not at all for the 'new' model. So yes, that's correct. I was commenting on the tabloid fantasist JHB that you linked to. Direct quotes were demonstrably untrue, as I... erm... demonstrated. I give up, go and listen to the JHB video you posted.
  19. Of course it does, its another example of simplistic, broad-brush ignorance. It is not a 'diesel SUV' any more than a Cayenne or a Range Rover or XC90 are. No idea, it wasn't my point. I would assume its circa 70-80% derv. The website didn't provide these, it was not an intentional omission. My assumption was that the numbers were not finalised. Assume you are aware that car sales in general are significantly down for 2018? See my previous point. https://europe.autonews.com/sales-market/european-sales-fall-8-no-sign-rebound
  20. "The x-trail is a Diesel SUV" https://www.nissan.co.uk/vehicles/new-vehicles/x-trail/prices-specifications.html#grade-XTRAILT32C-0|overview "Barely sell any in Europe... Outdated, outmoded, unpopular, unwanted car" http://carsalesbase.com/european-car-sales-data/nissan/nissan-xtrail/ Chalk that one up to ERG-quality research.
  21. Why do you spend your time citing tabloid fantasies and detailing your response to them, yet devote no effort to analysing the actual economic consequences of Brexit? Are JLR, Barclays, Nissan et al of any interest to you? What is your opinion on the proposed job losses? Do you feel these losses are coincidental with Brexit, or caused by it? Is this a good thing, bad thing, or if no consequence? Just ‘loling’ at the imagined opposition tells us nothing of value.
  22. Batman says he’s shît
  23. Only just started watching - have we played ok?
  24. Well yes, he is better than no-one, likely Ramsey too. If your point is that we are a defender down compared to a couple of weeks ago, fair enough. Thought it was just another pop at valery.
  25. Miles is stretching it. What specifically make him better? Marking and tackling weren’t Cedric’s strong point, regularly lost his man. Wing play, again, not brilliant - got up and down quite well but woefully poor at crossing the ball. Honestly, I think Valery is significantly down on experience, but at least parity on ability and drive. He makes mistakes but he has also shown some excellent bits of skill and decent vision for a pass. Stop slating him.
