Do you go to watch particlular opponents when you go to St Mary's then? I tend to just go when I am free and can afford it, don't give a monkeys who we are playing. Obviously games against bigger teams and derbys can be more enjoyable but then you can watch us spank Villa and Sunderland in the other ones, s'all good

Never wanted us to sign a player more than with Toby, was absolutely buzzing when he signed last season and he didn't disappoint. If he signs I hope we start a regular song for him.

I think he is a player that is useful when a team are sitting back looking for a draw or that counter attacking goal (which happened to us a fair bit last season) but in an end to end game against the bigger sides he could be a liability

If Lallana had left with a letter like this as opposed to the crappy unthoughtful 2 page spread in the daily echo maybe a few more people would of felt less bitter about his move.

Plus now for the front 3 behind the striker or wide 2 and striker options are as follows Sterling, Sturridge, Lallana, Markovic, Balotelli, Lambert, Borini, Ings, Firmino, Ibe and Coutinho So that's a total of 11 first team players for 3-4 postions in the first 11. Obviously one or two might go but still 9-10 for 3-4 postions is far too many to have in a squad.

Didn't think it was that odd a statement, Bar Clyne and Firmino their signings wouldn't excite me and have me believe that my 'big' club is going to get into the top 4 this season.

When I look back and think of Adam leaving the best way to describe my feeling is sad. Sad that he could of helped us push on to make history, sad that he could of stayed and become a club legend like Le tiss, sad by the way he left, the refusal to play and even just give it a go with a legend in the game Ronald Koeman. He was one year into a 5 year contract when he signed it he pretty much said he wanted to stay for life. England duty, Rodgers and money have poisoned his moral compass IMO

I think he is and others do as well. Has that something special to win you a tight game. The other logic is not having a 12m signing leave for nothing next season. If you look at the signings he is joining it doesn't exactly make you think they are going to be pushing for top 4, average british players some not even in the england squad and an untested brazilian who might need time to settle. Hopefully our signings turn out better than theres.

Why? We'll just get another suitable replacement.

I think it would be much easier to not begrudge players like Lallana and Schneiderlin a move if they had actually won something for us or got to a final (apart from the JPT). Did very well in the league but is 7th or 8th something that will be talk about for decades? I suppose Morgan helped us to Europe but that was only because a Top 4 team won the final. They helped us up but only to were we belong and didn't win a League 1 or championship title when the latter was in our hands but I suppose you can't begrudge them for going for a Top 4 club and taking a 'short-cut"due to them getting to the peak age for a footballer. Shaws and Chambers was just silly for there own football development more than anything, they took a massive short cut Lambert back hometown club past his best, no one can begrudge him Lovren, just a *****, got here, finish 8th, left as soon as he could, no moral compass

Highly doubt we'll get him due to his wages, unless he would come for less money than he is on there, a player doing that is very rare. Although due to the tax system in France, he might still end up with only slightly more £££ over in Paris than over here in Southampton even if we payed him less here, get me?
