I agree with this. You can have any number of targets, but it doesn't mean they will come here.

Pelle and Tadic may well have been high on our list, but I think it was the presence of Koeman that convinced them to come here. Everton had their eye on Tadic as well remember.

Maybe you're right, the club won't say anything, and no, I certainly don't expect a statement about every member of the backroom staff that leaves, but considering this has been a newsworthy subject I expect the club will at least be asked about it.

Michael Calvin, who has just written a book about scouting, was on Talksport a few days ago saying he couldn't think of a more unsuitable club for Paul Mitchell to join than Spurs as it's the exact opposite of what Saints are about. I guess money has raised it's ugly head again I look forward to hearing what the club has to say about it when it becomes official.

I'm sure there are plenty to take his place, it's information about our future targets that concerns me. Still, he's hardly going to turn around Spurs season overnight is he. I just despise Spurs even more now, with a passion.

Thanks Batman. I heard Paul Mitchell interviewed on Talksport a couple of weeks ago, the way he spoke so positively about the clubs philosophy and attention to detail leaves me surprised to hear he's looking to move on. I'm sure he can be replaced but the thought of him going to Spurs (puh!!) with information about our targets concerns me.

Let's hope we have something like this in place already. For a club that prides itself on attention to detail you'd think we've already done this.

So if he leaves for Spurs does that mean he'll also take some of the staff that work with him too? I enjoyed the recent video of what happens behind the scenes, the black box etc, but I also felt a little uncomfortable about displaying our "know how" so publicly. It's like showing off your really nice house in a neighourhood of burglars.
