  1. Spurs performance seemed vaguely familiar, totally dominant first half, no answer once they went behind in the second half. Well done Newcastle! Danny Murphy reckoned that MP hadn't done anything in his career to deserve the Spurs job.
  2. Hahahahaha.......well done Baggies! Oh fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. If West Brom can hold on this is shaping up to be a perfect weekend.
  4. Maybe they know full well they won't get him this window, but it's enough to keep him unsettled and wanting a move to his beloved Poch in January.
  5. Must be the new catering staff.
  6. The same bloke on TSport- Warren Hawton or something - 5 minutes earlier linked Towsend/Morgan swap. In my listening experience he seems to know very little about us, he has a slot to fill so fills it with all sorts of crap.......hopefully in this case.
  7. That's real ambition that is.
  8. I certainly don't hate Townsend, I just can't see what he's done of late to justify his England call up. I'm not sure he'd be great for us either, maybe with Koeman's coaching he could be good, who knows? Purely as a matter of principle I wouldn't deal with Spurs anyway. IMHO.
  9. Townsend in the England squad - Roy, please tell me why?
  10. Sorry if this drifts into my boring private life; I'm sure at some point I will watch MOTD, of course, even though it constantly disappoints me. It was a throwaway comment. I was watching a film with my wife whilst MOTD was on. I kept popping into the other room to see if coverage of our match was on yet- which was slightly annoying for my wife, but once "our" bit came on she very patiently paused the film to allow me time to watch it. However the coverage was so pathetic I wished I hadn't bothered - hence my "don't think I'll bother again" comment. Hope that explains it The only saving grace for me with MOTD is at least it doesn't feature Manish Bhasin, mugs and brick walls.
  11. Watched MOTD, wish I hadn't. All talk concentrated on Morgan and seemed to be intent on painting the picture that Morgan is not committed, Phil Neville said something about feeling sorry for him having to stay after 12 players left, what?? Nothing about the performance, no mention of Koeman, tactics, Pelle............utter crap. Don't think I'll bother again. P.Neville, Lineker "I've got a goatee" and know-it-all Danny Murphy? No thanks.
  12. Nice one Palace!
  13. I suppose Poch will be heralded a genius now! Ruined my day.
  14. There was a time in the last couple of weeks where I envisaged Koeman walking out on us due to the board not getting their s**t together. Would hate to be a Palace fan tonight, awful.
  15. Perhaps the recommendations didn't want to come here or we couldn't get them over the line.
  16. It's coming out on 360 too, so not only is it losing PS4 sales it's losing PS3 too, so the sums involved would have to be huge. I thought the same as you Colinjb, it must be a timed exclusive but nowhere does it say that. I can't see it being something that will sell huge numbers of Xbox Ones IMHO.
  17. Just found out today that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is going to be Xbox exclusive which I found very surprising, the last game in this new franchise sold more on PS platforms I believe. I guess large piles of cash have been exchanged for the exclusivity. Personally it doesn't affect me, I played the last one all the way through and it was fairly enjoyable, but for me it lacked the exploration and massive structures that the original game had way back in '97 (??) and for that reason I wasn't too bothered. Having said that it seems like a bit of a kick in the teeth to all the Playstation owners who've supported Tomb Raider from the beginning. Do you think it's a smart move by Microsoft and Square Enix? Will it be a console seller? Do you think it will eventually get released multi plat?
  18. Spot on!
  19. Dunno what he was doing to them, but it seems he convinced his little group of admirers that they were far too good for us
  20. Well done Fonte, that's made my day It's so refreshing to hear one of our players say he's actually HAPPY here. Seems such a long time since I've heard that word.
  21. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too, but if we don't get Rojo, Vlaar or VVD then who is left? Wonder if Koeman knows of someone in the Dutch league.
  22. So, if we don't get Vlaar and we don't get VVD, then who are we getting?
  23. Just for once this summer can't the board say "no"? Or, "sorry Callum but your our player and we want you to stay. Give us two seasons where you can mature and learn your trade then we'll let you go." If he wants to sulk he can sit on the bench for a few weeks, pretty sure he'd come round in the end. We seem to have a massive lack of balls, determination or strength in these matters. Wimps. As Kenneth Williams wrote in his diary "oh what's the bloody point?!" 24. Had Liverpool not come in for AL, RL and DL does anyone here think these players would still be with us? Was there any competition for their signatures? Sent from my GT-S5360 using Tapatalk 2
  25. This has been on my mind too - all weekend. If one of the big guns come in for him or any other players how do we stop him/them leaving? Are we suddenly going to get tough, and if so, why didn't we get tough with the other players who have left us, is it because we didn't want them? Seems hard to believe that was the case. In which case are we open for business to all comers with enough dosh, or is it just that it's impossible to hold onto players when the big clubs come calling? Sent from my GT-S5360 using Tapatalk
