The club explained all the many things they offered to help him (very generous to be honest) then the report concluded by saying that the club "declined to comment" - even though they obviously already had otherwise we wouldn't know about the offers of help. Utter dog sh#t "news" article. If you haven't got enough news to fill up the time, then finish the show early and fill in with some Tom and Jerry!

Amazing isn't it, how this stuff get's thrown out on the airwaves as fact. I've heard Andy Jacobs say this quite a few times about Redknapp. Wouldn't it have cost the FA something like £10 million to get 'arry off Spurs? Strangely enough, as soon as Levy realised he wasn't going to make any money out of him he dumped him. I'm no fan of Hodgson but the way 'arry talked about him in his book shows what a classless melty face he really is.

This is no surprise, they love him on Talksport. I still hear the line occasionally trotted out by presenters on that station that " 'arry would have got the England team playing exciting football" as if it was a non-negotiable fact. Are they clairvoyant or something? I was unfortunate enough to hear 5 minutes of Durham and Goughy talking about saggy face last night, along the lines of "it's a shame for harry because of his knee trouble, it's a brave decision....blah blah" sycophantic, vomit inducing stuff. I turned off.

Why would we make a deal with Arsenal so early? Surely Morgan would want to keep his options open for a start, and as far as the club is concerned, why not wait to see what other offers come in first? As has been mentioned previously, what happens if Arsenal fail to make top four? What about a bigger club than Arsenal coming in for him, offering far better personal terms? If the deal was done last Summer, as a sweetener to keep Morgan happy and not make waves, then why hasn't there been more positive stuff about Saints coming out of his mouth apart from the stuff earlier in the week? (if there has been more then apologies if I've missed them) There have been a few interviews with French media where he still goes on about wanting a move to a bigger club and CL football, which doesn't help the club, so why mention it if he's already off? Mr Secret Footballer may well have been told it's a "done deal" but maybe his contact has it wrong or has put 2 and 2 together and got 5. Having said all this, maybe the deal has been done recently - which would coincide with Morgan's sudden positive words about the club earlier in the week. Maybe we have someone coming the other way from Arsenal as part of the deal, hence it being done well in advance? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting 6!!
