Good to see the guilty verdicts although I don’t understand how he avoided the predatory charge. It’s incredible that he got away with so much for so long, but hopefully this will help put an end to serial abusers getting away scot free.

I think that there will be a few goals in this game. Given our away form I am going for a 3-2 win with Adams to finally break his duck.

Saw Little Women recently and it was excellent as was Emma.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

No your right, I guess we are all hoping that it will be bought by a ring wing billionaire. After all, they can’t have too much control of the media can they? -

As well as going after the BBC, it appears that Johnson is now looking to privatise Channel 4. Cross Johnson at your peril. -
Plasters are now apparently being provided in different skin tone colours. Now as much as I take some effort in co-ordinating my wardrobe, I really don’t give a stuff about the colour something is that I stick on my skin to stop blood seeping out. I suppose I should be happy, at least I will be able to get something to match my skin tone when I get a sun tan.

The BBC has the impossible task of being all things to all people. We have to accept that money will be spent on things that we personally think is a waste, but others won't. They are in a no win situation but as a public service, they have to provide just that. At 42p a day though I don’t think we can complain too much about the cost for what they provide.

I have a neighbour from hell who is a West Ham fan so it would be great to add a nail to their Premiership coffin. That and to get one over on “Winner” Moyes.

The Sun lost £68m last year. Yay!

Are we the only ones allowed to criticise our club? I have seen plenty of criticism on here about our home support. We can dish it out but we can’t take it. As mentioned, even when we had four consecutive top ten finishes and a great performance in a major cup final the flak was flying towards the club from our own supporters. The fact is, he isn’t wrong.

I thought the right wing types were all for the Great British institutions. Apparently not.

Are you incapable of working out paying for something for the general good no matter what service that is for? FFS we are talking about £2.97 per week! It is worth that for David Attenborough alone. Just to put things into perspective it would cost you £4.50 a week for The Sun.

Post-match reaction: Saints 2-0 Aston Villa

Nearly there. Hats off to everyone at the club for an amazing turn around. A special shout out to the board for keeping faith with Ralph. -
Of course not. It is entirely possible to have a public funded organisation with an independent regulatory body. Do you think people who don’t want to use the NHS should get a tax rebate?
-
Why should we have a choice with the BBC when we don’t have a choice with other areas of public spending on things we don’t use, like Trident for example?

There is a difference between a judicial verdict and having a view on that verdict. I never disputed the fact that Boycott was found guilt, I just wondered what it was about the evidence that convinced the judge. People do it all the time, like those who believe that having sex with incapacitated women is not rape.

So one person out of 60 odd million.

The principle of funding certain public services whether you want them or not. Keep up.
-
Yes, but I would prefer that a new way of funding was found. Never watch Match of the Day?
-
I will never forgive him for those four consecutive top ten finishes either mate, but it is time to move on.

So are you saying that everyone who objects to the licence fee and anyone in their household never watches a BBC programme, never listens to the BBC on the radio or never looks at the BBC news online?
