Against a relatively poor Stoke, we win away convincingly - love it - 12 more of these pls. I really liked that we scored two very different types of goals. A defence splitting pass followed by a great cross and tidy finish (two in the box for that one... nice) And with a messy little finish due to physical presence at a corner (simply lovely) Two good saves from our keeper and a competent back four... wow Bring on Watford... We've all been asking for this 442 / 4231 ... Didn't quite work out last weekend but we could see some positive out of it. We've all been asking for the deadwood to be trimmed... Our squad depth , starting lineup and bench are now starting to reflect that reality. Feels like the reset that was due to happen last summer. I'll take that... even if it takes us another 18 months to complete the rebuild.

Been a long time since we blew away the opposition ... will savour that first half for a long time. Great team goals, lovely skill moves, positive running, hard tackles... more or less perfect 45mins. Managed the rest of the game which, with 2 other games quickly coming up, made a lot of sense. Wonderful start to the weekend :-) COYS

Hard to judge when the team hasn't had time to gel... Better second half but would like to see Archer and Stewart up as a pair upfront. We'll get them next game...

I moaned about the quality of the squad before the last game. Although the new boys will need time to bed in and back up the hype, certainly looks different today. Can't wait COYR
