  1. Looks like Capt is not back...
  2. looks like the Capt is back
  3. Not bad half, we're competing, away, against a team at our level. Reminds me of last year and will probably be a top draw in the Championship next. Not getting much out of our "front" three... Only time Fernandes managed to get on the ball in a real attacking move, he got the assist for Aribo. Gronbaek seems like he will need time (or left midfield is not his position, no idea) TP is well.. TP. I'd take one of Bree,THB and Gronbaek off, put Dibling and Sulemana on for a 4-2-3-1
  4. when we have the ball Bree and THB play left and right back with Aribo the deepest lying midfied / emergency CB alongside Bednarek... Makes us totally open to counters as we have no pace and no cover, such a weird setup.
  5. straight through the middle, once again... 😞
  6. decent first impression from Wellington... got his running boots on.
  7. We have 6 central defenders, guess it's a lottery and Stephens won it this week
  8. 2 players debuting KWP in his natural position Subs with potential to change the game for us in Sulemana and Dibling Kind of feels like a fresh start... Hoping for the best COYS
  9. Fernandes, our best player this year and by a country mile... pity his efforts aren't rewarded more often.
  10. Janny B joint top scorer for us in the prem... so why not?
  11. orite, gonna go for a very hopeful 2-2... COYS
  12. Abject first half, battling second... Pity that once again we can't have a consistent 90 mins. Just shows that AA and to a lesser extend CA and Downes are just not physically built to be premiership starters (especially in a struggling team). At that level, you need a combination of speed, strength, stamina and skill. Sulemana, Les and TP did well. Aribo as quarter-back like defensive midfielder isn't a bad idea. Manning and KWP in their proper position makes a different. Unfortunately, I reckon it will take Juric another month or two to get the team playing well for 90mins... If only
  13. we've even managed to make Ramsdale shit... dear oh dear But we have VAR...
  14. A bit surprised that Sulemana doesn't start after what he showed in the past 2 games, bit of tiredness maybe? Guess Juric didn't fancy playing Archer or Sulemana on the right to replace Dibling. Rest of the team seems about right.
  15. pity and honestly a bit unlucky not to have been a couple of goals up... We did really well for 80mins... shows how far we have to go. Subs didn't work out but I believe that Juric will learn from that.
  16. Like Juric's pressers. direct, honest, focussed and no bull. Hope it influences the team to be the same. Team selection and 3-4-3 shape are inline with availability and capability of players. We've been so bad that I'll take any decent performance tonight, irrespective of result. It's now about rebuilding confidence and competitiveness within that squad. 7 nil Saints ;-)
  17. let's hope for a good one today... COYS
  18. Not making any excuses for RM but unsure you can pin it all to one guy. I'd add the Board, senior management as well as the coaching and playing staff for our current mess. All share some responsibility whether it was the appointment, replacement or sacking of the Manager, Director of Football (anyone?) or coaching staff (is Juric bringing anyone?) , the poor recruitment, bad preparations, indiscipline or lack of effort. It's so hard to run such an enterprise. When the chips are down, I'd be looking for hard graft, ideas and ownership from my senior team. I don't think we've seen a lot of that in the past few months. Let's hope for better soon.
  19. if we stay up, I'll gladly surf on that great escape wave... If we're going down, I'll support them next year in the Championship. Irrespective, I want for that team to give a fuck and try their best until then. Best of luck and welcome Mr Juric.
  20. There's a ton of jobless managers that could be worth a look at. No idea if any would consider us, but there's plenty of experience out there. Top of my head: Rudi Garcia (of Marseille, Lyon, Napoli fame) Benitez (of Everton fame :-) Sarri ( would love him... ) N. Lennon ( did ok with Celtic, since then not much) Klinsmann (if we can have Koeman, why not our fav German) Hjulmand (ex Denmark manager) Ivic (SR might want a Serbian in ... ex-watford if I remember correclty) Pretty sure Puel and Pellegrino are also available :-)
  21. as usual... Half decent going forward ... Defensively totally mental...
