Watching Motd this morning I think it was the first time this season that Saints have looked good for a good part of what was shown . Salah's goal was so well taken unfortunately! On another day we could of had another penalty as well. Dibling looked brilliant but those defensive cock ups , I know Barca have the players who can receive the ball when being close marked and lay it off but we don't have that quality.

Appeared on ITV pre England match , suffering from dementia now . Showed him heading a great goal for Saints at the Dell but he was then semi comatose lying on the pitch . One the the great old fashioned defenders but it’s cost him and his family.

In our day you could watch a 5 day cricket match on the BBC for just the licence fee , on sundays you could watch every Saints home match on Southern Soccer while eating your sunday roast . Saints at St Marys has varied but since just before covid home matches we attended were more in hope than expectation , but we enjoyed the day out 🙂
