According to lots of people Ian Ayre never even went to Italy. IMHO I think Inter are playing a game with Liverpool to up the bid as I can't see why Saints would sign someone in the region of 11m that's only played a few games.

I thought it was slicker football and higher tempo first half, 2nd half we huffed & puffed and pumped too many long balls into wasted areas plus too many players starting hogging the ball a bit. If MP gets us fitter then we will play the best football ever seen at St Mary's. What are your thoughts?

The new manager needs to stand on his own feet so why should Cortese be at the press conference? He will be at the game and he will be smiling as he knows with MP we can reach the next level.

If people are going to sing something then why not 'Thank you very much Nigel Adkins, thank you very much etc.' One minute then move on and support the team & new manager for 90 minutes. I honestly believe we are onto a winner with MP but he needs our support from the off.
