    Murty

Heard him say 2nd half 'up, up, get up the ****ers!' wow leadership at it's best :-)
  2. I'm thinking of setting up a business that I know will be a success however I really don't know where to start. Without revealing what service I'm providing I would like to ask questions on here in the hope someone can help me. I need a standard size warehouse within an industrial estate but would that be a hire or buy option? is there any such thing as warehouse auctions? Also do I need council approval, planning permission? Finally on running a warehouse what can one claim back on tax in terms of %. Any books to help perhaps or any advice would be a great help. Thank you.
  3. Read this thread and I can't believe Michael Johnston has not been mentioned. Over the course of 400 metres he beat the field by over 30 metres. The man was a running freak who's record has not been touched for 10 years. Sir Redgrave is in my top 5 with the Tiger too. Great sporting talents indeed.
  4. Ian Bell or pushing it I reckon Colin Montgomerie.
  5. Wow this bloke is a winner! I can't understand why he has not got his coaching team in yet as I know Dillon was on the radio last week which suggests he would not of been on holiday. Good Luck Alan in sorting out the total **** you have been left with thanks to Rupert Lowe running a clueless football club.
  6. We approached him to be Pardews balls and cones man. big deal ;-)
  7. hehe Those days huh? I always kept going into work telling the saints fans that it's going to be this Friday we get taken over, I think they all avoided me after the 40th time :-(
  8. Don't you just miss those threads? :-) :-) :-)
  9. I have seen many squads a lot worse than ours that have done so well in the championships and even the premiership. If you have a good coaching team then these players will improve as the confidence factor really does take over. Reading a few years back had a team of nobodies and yet Coppell got the very best from them. Hull City is another example as we beat them 5-0 at St Mary's the season before last, I cant recall anyone decent in that team when I was watching. Alan Pardew is teaching them the ABC guide of football and with it he wants players to understand his ways of thinking. I predict that this team will put a great run together and can product 8 wins on the bounce against what must be said some very below average standard division one teams.
  10. Anyone that went see Pardew do seven deep slow claps or any hands on knees coding? strange I know!
  11. AP has had 2 hours with the squad. He's no miracle man to turn a bunch of losers in such quick time. When he brings his coaching team with him and some decent signings we will hold our own in this league without a doubt. I have seen with my very eyes how bloody hard he gets his point across to a bunch of airheads who are starved of any confidence due to the crock of **** that's run the setup before. Onwards and upwards TRUST ME.
  12. Murty had his supa heavy coat on to sweat it out me thinks. Anyway he was the one starting all the half way line drills.
  13. No chance as Pardew gun forces will be hunting me down! Seriously they need to get on with it now and in secret too.
  14. Talking of Kelvin he was not there that i could see anyway. It was Bart and Forecast doing the keeper drills. Maybe KD was on the other pitch getting better training from our keeper coach. To be honest forecast sat on the advertising hoarding for 50 minutes while Bart who was in goal touched it once in that time.
  15. thats the man so you are right there. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1691375,00.html Training went on until past 1 and i had to leave then. I have seen Burley, Strachan, Hoddle and now Pardew on there first training sessions at staplewood and Pardew really does look the boss. Stopped everything and spoke about everything. the best part that i enjoyed was almost something from the matrix... he rolled the ball into an attacking flank and asked the players to get into position within ten seconds as someone would eventually reach the ball. Once they got there he blew up his whistle and then looked at everyone to see if they had the brains to know where they had to be. He was not happy at all as the players lack knowledge. I honestly mean this when i say they are lost on the pitch. Pardew made it clear what he wants and he was always making his point every 15 seconds for over a period of 90 minutes. The lame header bit was funny as Pulis let it fluff off his head so Pardew threw his whistle to the ground and held his hands on knees for at least 10 seconds while shaking his head at the same time. He shouted why? what was that? before he showed them how to do press ups to the whole back four. He added two high energy green bib players every now and again to spice us up, i presume this is the extra option of defenders supporting the attack, Was Gillet and James at first as they had the freedom to get the ball to the flanks but nothing was allowed to go over head height. He also did some other stuff discussed in the centre circle, this a tactic he will employ on the touchline as the players will do something? (editted as this could harm our tactics) Also another code was hands on his knees or someone else will which does something? So deep in tactics i say and i reckon this team had better sort it out otherwise they are dropped end of. It was hard to say who was impressive today as it was all stop, start. I must add that Stern John had some nice flicks and plenty of smiles and hand gestures like Beattie would do years ago as the Mr funny man. Pardew lacked a 2nd man today as Henderson stood on the half way line watching for 90 minutes as Pardew took the lot, I think he needed another coach to talk to some players on a one to one while Pardew was making his point to the whole team. We really do have a great boss and Im chuffed he got straight down to the tactics and the know how of football, These things take time and im sure our boys will respond to it quickly too. He is without doubt a Strachan type but much more vocal and slightly more angry at times. COYR for the new season as I cant wait for Pardew to get a grip on them all and take us to where we belong.
  16. Oh give over I'm the untouchable!
  17. It's not Dillon that's for sure unless he looks different from the photos. IMHO Henderson is off as he did nothing once Pardew rook over. Doing shooting drills now thank god. He has got the players learning hand clap codes which is bizarre!!
  18. Got the sat down now in the middle of the pitch as he is discussing loads more. It really does look like Dillon, 5 ft 9 and a bold head?
  19. There are two assistants in the distance and one seemed to be talking to AP alot at the beginning, However Henderson is stading on the half way line as Pardew is running the whole show. It's all about the basics and his system at themoment as it has been for an hour now. Btw the attacking team have not scored a goal yet. :-)
  20. Just seen a small ginger haired tanned man walk around the outside with a marks and spencers bag under his arm as he looks to be returning something to the kitman, He don't look happy. Haha - Im gonna shoot my source next time.
  21. No new faces at all.., Radiaks body language is crap and I hope pardew sees this.
  22. A lame header out of defence and pardew slams his whistle down, puts his hands on his knees and then shouts out why it was suck a **** header, Got the whole back four doing press ups now.
  23. Euell is not but John is 100% in the thick of it. He looks to be enjoying it I reckon while rasiak is a ****!
  24. smart stuff as he hacks the ball into a flank attacking position and asks the players to get In there places they think is right! Haha they are scared now as nobody can really get it right other than the first one to the ball. HD hits his whistle and then questions the attack and defence what he is doing.
