Tbh I don't blame KWP. He's been a standout player for the last 4 years (up until this season). He's seen some absolute shite players and managers in that time and hasn't pushed to move. Just like the fans I'm not surprised he's had enough.

You're right he hasn't applied himself and clearly has a pretty crap attitude. He isn't a poor player though - definitely our best defender but we won't see the best of him because he's so half arsed.

I like how Rusk changed his game plan in the Liverpool cup game to suit the situation. Started with a 5 at the back, wasn't working so changed it at half time and we very nearly came back and got the equaliser. Haven't seen that from Martin or Juric.

We should get around 70-80m for Dibling, Ramsdale and Fernandes too. Let's just hope they manage to spend the money wisely this time.

I still think our best approach this season would've been to really focus on our defensive shape, keep the middle of the pitch tight and make teams play around us, aiming to hit teams on the break. Ok we don't have the fastest side on the world but Archer and Sulemena are pretty quick.

People saying why didn't we go for Moyes, Potter etc. Maybe because they wouldn't touch the job with a bargepole? Even Juric was stupid for taking it - any reputation he had is dwindling away.

Ramsdale; KWP, ABK, Stephens, Wellington; Ugochukwu, Downes, Fernandes; Sulemena, Dibling, Onuachu/Archer. Assuming THB and Bednarek are still out. Would just be nice to see something a bit different formation wise. It'll obviously be a 5 again though with Smallbone in the middle and Aribo at CB. We can only hope that Juric spends the 10 day gap after Chelsea working on some alternative tactics because the 3 points we need to overtake the record look a long, long way off.

Yes almost but Brighton really should have been 3 or 4 up at half time in that game. Either way we have just been a total joke all season.

Can't say I remember many games this season that we played well under Martin, mistakes or not. We might've been ok for 30 mins or so in certain matches but that's nowhere near enough. I certainly didn't come away from many games thinking "we should have won that". Possibly Leicester and Ipswich at home but that's it. Even the game we did win, we didn't deserve to. Seems like there's a lot of rewriting of history going on tonight. Just because Martins successor has turned out just as bad, doesn't mean he suddenly had us playing competitive football earlier in the season.

Well it isn't, is it? Juric technically still has a better ppg ratio than Martin did, so at least wait until he doesn't to start talking up RM again.
