Yep 2-2. Two late goals.
-
Wolves are above us and despite being in the bottom three don't look that bad. They've played Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton and Villa already.
-
Just watched the Everton game. Got the big men upfront in the last 5 minutes and whipped cross after cross into the box and they scored right at the death. Whilst we bring on Onuachu and continue to pass the ball sideways and backwards in our own half.
-
You're quick to slag off Selles yet defend Martin for having an even worse record with no obvious signs of improvement?
-
Yes because the style isn't too dissimilar to their own. Of course they will compliment it as it was a relatively easy day for them. Doesn't mean it works for every team though, does it?
-
Just going by how he comes across in his interviews etc 👍
-
Bernardo Silva and Pep both complimenting Russell Martin. Exactly what he wanted out of this game. Bet he's absolutely buzzing with that.
-
The level of officiating at the top level is the worst it's ever been. Absolutely horrendous.
-
I'd get Tall Paul on for the last 15. Give their CBs something to think about. Why not. Might as well lose 2-0 trying to grab an equaliser.
-
Man City look like they are in 1st gear playing in a training game. We are so dull.
-
Makes zero sense.
-
I'd actually go for the same side that started against Leicester. Looked pretty solid until RM started making the changes.
-
Taylor, SAA, Wood, Edwards and BBD all playing for the Under 21s. Taylor playing is a bit of a shock. Personally think he should be playing at left back tomorrow! Goes to show we signed some real poor players in the summer.
-
He gave their CB's something to think about, that's for sure. His link up play is a lot better than I thought it was. You can tell he's got a decent footballing brain, he's just slow and gangly.
-
I mean SR put that on themselves. Haggling over a £500,000 compensation or something stupid.
-
Our recent record at Molineux is pants - expect nothing other than a loss there. Obviously we will lose next weekend. That leaves the Everton game. Possibly a draw at best now they've picked up some form. 1 point surely wouldn't be enough to save him. I think most of us can agree he'll more than likely be sacked come the next international break, which will leave everyone questioning why they left it so long, given the writing was pretty much on the wall.
-
Agreed. He signed a new deal but it only added a year on as he still had two left, so not a huge difference. As you say, basically just a pay rise as we got promoted.
-
He's a young lad and won't play well every week. The fact we seem to be relying on him this much at his age is extremely concerning.
-
Sounds exactly what we don't need in this current situation. Would be another gamble. I'm sure he's a very good coach but we need someone with a little bit of experience at least.
-
Wolves have certainly had a more difficult set of fixtures than us so far. I'd suggest ATM we are nailed on to finish bottom.
-
How many more games do we waste on this guy? The season is almost over for us, game by game we are slipping further away but I see people saying "give him a few more games". It'll get to April and people will still be saying the same bullshit.
-
If this is the case then he needs to get a move on.
-
I don't think he does unfortunately but I'm sure MLG will confirm. Rasmus and Kraft are the owners along with Solak himself, who provides the majority of the investment.
-
Tbf we made a better start under Ralph than we have this season. In fact a much better start. It really would be near on impossible not to improve us this season.
-
Sadly the fuckwits running the club will only go if they sell up. We are stuck with them I'm afraid.
