  1. Do many managers have plan B's these days? They seem to have a philosophy/coaching style and want to implement that and make it work (apart from Jones that is, he didn't even have that) At least we have signed a striker that's a different option I guess. We haven't really had that for a while.
  2. I think we will win a few games with Marsch in charge but it won't be enough to stay up. The damage has already been done in my view. The board had two options - get in a firefighter like Big Sam who has no long term future here or hire someone who could potentially keep us up but if they don't, could do well with a young squad in the championship.
  3. The Jones appointment was just odd on so many levels. Hiring Marsch is totally different in my opinion.
  4. My best mate is a Leeds fan - he says that he's a good man manager but they thought he was tactically out of his depth. However he admitted that they did keep the ball well and played some decent football and he was slightly hamstrung by the lack of a decent striker.
  5. He demands a lot of aggression? I won't believe it until I see the xG aggression stats.
  6. Obviously don't know anything about the guy but on paper it would look like a pretty poor appointment (just going by his previous jobs & win rate)
  7. Marsch certainly wouldn't be my first choice but he did galvanise Leeds when he came in last season, so hoping he could have a similar effect here. I have seen Leeds a bit this season and they were decent in a fair few games (without necessarily getting the results, granted)
  8. I'll be there next February on my honeymoon!
  9. Imagine we will go to a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 with Bednarek dropped. Providing Selles takes the game I guess it'll be something like Bazunu; KWP, DCC, Salisu, Perraud; Lavia, JWP, Alcaraz; Sulemena, Orsic, Adams.
  10. Agree about Carrick. He's really turned Boro around this season.
  11. Imagine genuinely believing we can attract Pochettino. Some of you need to give your heads a wobble.
  12. Stuck with him? He cost peanuts and will be fine as backup for KWP when he's returned from injury.
  13. Kompany wouldn't come here when he's guaranteed to be managing in the Premier League next season with Burnley.
  14. From the Jones sacking statement it sounds like they have already started the process. I.e Selles will prepare the team for Chelsea (not necessarily take the game)
  15. Wasn't there talk of Selles laying into the players after Ralph was sacked?
  16. Agree with this
  17. Just displaying my emotions, not trying to act hard. Most people just sit there in silence then go home. Fair enough but that's not me.
  18. Haha no but he wasn't that far in front of me. Semmens stared at me whilst I shouted "they only had 10 fucking men" then looked away whilst I shouted a load of other expletives at him.
  19. Was thrown out for remonstrating in front of the directors box towards the end of the game. Don't even think Rasmus was there.
  20. Peter Crouch was the same. He said on his podcast that overly tall players (himself included) aren't actually that great in the air because they don't jump. Reckons he was better in the penalty area when attacking the ball rather than winning it from goal kicks etc.
  21. Tbf Sulemana was pretty decent when he came on last week. Weeks worth of training - get him on the pitch on Saturday.
  22. Bazunu; KWP, DCC/ABK, Salisu, Perraud; Lavia, Alcaraz, JWP; Edozie, Sulemana, Onuachu.
  23. Certainly won't be paying any extra on top of my season ticket to watch us play under Jones.
  24. It's on ITV4.

Apparently it isn't being live streamed but the club are going to provide a recording a few days after the event. Basically editing out all the negative stuff about Jones. It'll only be about 2 minutes long!
