He plays in 3 or 4 positions yes but isn't very good in any of them.
-
This really. Winning 3 games in a row, two of them being away and one being against one of the best sides in the world is a pretty good turnaround. Maybe he does just need a bit of time. There is no reason why we shouldn't get behind the team and the manager from here on in because let's be honest, he isn't going anywhere.
-
I've seen that a few of their fans seem to rate him. They think he could do well in the Prem.
-
I see a few Everton fans let off fireworks right outside the Southampton team hotel in the early hours of the morning. Really hope we can turn these w*nkers over.
-
I can't see us selling him in January. I do think he'll be gone in the summer though.
-
To be fair Lyanco's best performances for us have come when he's been playing right back. I don't think it's a viable long term solution if KWP goes, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if he had to play there short term.
-
Well it's safe to say the players are behind him. What a display.
-
Not sure how that works. Adams is missing chances and Bazunu isn't making saves. Surely they are both culpable rather than just one of them?
-
Hughes record was just as bad as Pellegrino's wasn't it?
-
It's the general consensus from their fans on twitter. Obviously you can't take it as gospel but it was quite the opposite reaction from Dinamo fans regarding Orsic.
-
Racing fans seem to think he is massively overrated and would snap our hands off for €10 million. They don't like him at all. Reminds me of the Torino fans when Lyanco joined us...
-
Yep. To be fair to Armstrong he is very good off the ball. He works so hard and does make some good runs that are rarely picked out. The problem is he's barely shown any quality so far in a Saints shirt.

This news just re-affirms how weird the decision to hire Nathan Jones was. We've bought talented young players, we originally hired a head of recruitment who had experience of bringing in young players and we are now after a director of football who's only jobs have been in Academy football. Nathan Jones doesn't seem to favour youth. He's just the odd one out.
-
I'd say yes. Wilcox has done a bloody good job with their academy, that's for sure.
-
It's pretty nailed on that we go out of the FA Cup, League Cup and then lose to Everton next week. Out of both cups and as good as relegated in the space of a week. I don't think Villa at home will be pretty.
-
I hope he's got strong neck muscles. Gonna need them for watching the ball fly over his head for 90 minutes.
-
I personally think if we don't sack him before the Villa game we are down. We always lose at Everton anyway so that's a write off regardless. Most likely relegated anyway but it would at least give us a chance.
-
He's coming across as a total prick
-
He has lost the fans already and clearly the players aren't buying into his methods. SR have been a disgrace so far so I have no expectation that they will do the right thing and cut their losses. I wonder what Dragan is thinking?
-
An inexperienced 21 year old attacker who has barely scored a goal. Just what we need in these circumstances.
-
I know he wants us to tighten up but 5 at the back at home to Forest with absolutely no creativity in the team. Smacks of Jones playing for a 0-0.
-
I'd imagine they are hoping Nathan Jones will pull off a miracle and keep us up.
-
We deserve everything we get this season. In a way I hope we go down. Have the chance to sign a a top, top player and we blow it because we've refused to offer €2 million more. Yet we spent more money on an 18 year old kid from Man City who had never played a senior match. Just goes to show they are in it for one thing only.

Alex Crook is a proper journo. He has sources far and wide and would've heard more than a second rate Croatian journalist who only has a couple of thousand followers on twitter. In fact I've just been told that Alex has flown out there to gather an exclusive which will be unveiled tomorrow 👀
-
€8 million is a bargain for someone who has the potential to keep us up. The board won't see it that way though as he won't have any resale value!
