From what we know so far - some of the players aren't playing for him and the majority of the fanbase are now against him. Once you've lost a number of the players, that's the beginning of the end and there's no coming back. So I have no idea what SR are waiting for.
-
Probably about time the fans showed their feelings in the ground. Seemed to work to get Puel the boot.
-
If Howe was available I'd 100% take him.
-
Thought Leeds were unlucky today. Both teams looked better than us anyway.
-
You do get the sense (from the telegraph/athletic article) that we are just trying to get a replacement lined up before we sack him.
-
Agree with this. For me, getting rid of Semmens and Ralph and then signing a striker in the January window would be a serious statement. Yes it's a lot of change but then again it's needed. Whether this happens is yet to be seen...
-
He has a lot to work on but the big difference to him and McCarthy is that he's 10 years or so younger.
-
At this moment in time I'd take 3 points - but even that shouldn't be enough to see him keep his job. Can't wait for the Bournemouth fans to pipe up after they've beaten us.
-
Yep it's either they pull the trigger now or wait until after the Arsenal game.
-
We will somehow get a result which will keep Ralph going yet again, then we will proceed to lose against West Ham and Bournemouth.
-
Exactly. Plus Rasmus Ankersen did really well at Brentford. I did like Semmens initially but I've become unsure after the last couple of fan forums. Certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if he and Toby Steele left.
-
Does that article actually say anything new though? Seems like a rehash of the Athletic article posted earlier in the week.
-
I'd have no problem with sticking him in charge for the City game. I'd understand if it was a winnable game but let's be honest, it isn't.
-
If they are gonna sack him they might as well just do it now and stick Selles in charge until they find a replacement. No point putting him through the humiliation of City.
-
I'd take Cooper. Good at developing young players and has done well at Swansea and Forest (until they decided to buy a whole new squad).
-
Plus despite the money they've spent, are any of their new signings actually that good? I very much doubt Cooper had a say in them either.
-
Yes we have had some positive moments but every time it feels like we have turned a corner Ralph starts over thinking things and we revert back to type. A fresh approach is needed.
-
Sounds to me like he's lost the players. If so then they might as well just get rid of him now.
-
I get that, but the only part of our team that has been functioning properly are the centre backs. Unless Salisu wasn't fit enough to play (no indication he wasn't) then I don't see why you would change that.
-
Yep, he played for Ghana mid week but he's a centre back at the end of the day, he can manage two games in a week I'm sure. Caleta-Car is new to the league so you've gotta cut him some slack but he's nowhere near Salisu's level yet.
-
JWP has never been captain material. He never shouts at players, encourages, gets in the refs ear, drives the team forward.
-
Yep this. I am a big fan of Adams and believe he should be in the side, but he shouldn't be the main man upfront because his finishing is so poor.
-
No enjoyment watching us at the moment. We can't string more than two passes together and switch off at the vital moments. All this off the ball coaching Ralph does.. maybe he should try some on the ball coaching for a change?
-
Villa and Wolves competant? They both look absolutely terrible this season.
-
It's all about off the ball with Ralph. If you can run but not pass then you're in. Hence why we're not creating chances.
