  1. ABK was very suspect on at least one of their guilt edged chances.
  2. Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now (young player in a new country etc) but he does need to do more.
  3. I just can't see how he scored so many goals for Blackburn. I'd my much rather we persisted with Mara next season in the championship, at least he shows flashes of potential.
  4. The chances are Selles is not the answer but these players really are a disgrace.
  5. I won't be there.
  6. I wonder how much it would cost to terminate his contract? If my mind serves me correctly he has played against Sheffield Wednesday, Lincoln, Grimsby, Coventry and probably more lower league sides over the last two seasons. He has arguably been our worst player in every game.
  7. I still think the 4-3-3 is best suited to the players we have.
  8. Behave
  9. He is an absolutely terrible footballer. Actually he's not even a footballer full stop.
  10. The club know the players like Selles and that they have responded well to his ideas. There's been a lot of change over the last few months - maybe a bit of certainty with the managers position until at least the end of the season is a good thing.
  11. Elyounoussi was absolutely pants at Elland Road last season.
  12. I remember Jones basically telling Selles to piss off back to his seat at one stage.
  13. I like the look of that team and could see Alcaraz playing that role quite well.
  14. Certainly wouldn't play Elyounoussi in this one.
  15. Orsic nowhere to be seen again either. Either they aren't doing it in training or something has been said behind the scenes.
  16. Agree with this. If he can do the following things before the end of the season (regardless if we go down or not) I think we should give him a chance next season. -implement a clear style/identity that the players buy into -connect with the supporters -ensure the team gives 100% and are competitive in every game -win a few matches along the way Arguably he's done most of that in 1 game!
  17. Personally think if we beat Leeds we should give it to him until the end of the season.
  18. 🤦🤦
  19. That's the bar isn't it? Can just picture him a few minutes earlier, large whiskey in hand.. "well here goes nothing".
  20. Larios is a young lad and has played a couple of games, there is no way a proper judgement can be made on him yet. Bazunu and Edozie have both been thrust into the Premier League with no prior experience. They both have very good potential. I don't really have an issue with any of the signings from City.
  21. With Marsch's system requiring younger and more athletic players to make it work, I could see us lining up like this in a 4-2-3-1 - Bazunu; KWP, ABK, Salisu, Perraud; Lavia, Alcaraz; Sulemena, JWP, Edozie; Adams. Personally I'd rather see Tall Paul up top but I'm not convinced Marsch will use him to start games.
  22. Do many managers have plan B's these days? They seem to have a philosophy/coaching style and want to implement that and make it work (apart from Jones that is, he didn't even have that) At least we have signed a striker that's a different option I guess. We haven't really had that for a while.
  23. I think we will win a few games with Marsch in charge but it won't be enough to stay up. The damage has already been done in my view. The board had two options - get in a firefighter like Big Sam who has no long term future here or hire someone who could potentially keep us up but if they don't, could do well with a young squad in the championship.
  24. The Jones appointment was just odd on so many levels. Hiring Marsch is totally different in my opinion.
  25. My best mate is a Leeds fan - he says that he's a good man manager but they thought he was tactically out of his depth. However he admitted that they did keep the ball well and played some decent football and he was slightly hamstrung by the lack of a decent striker.
