I genuinely don't think we've been that bad defensively this season. Lost a lot of games by the odd goal but the centre backs have been our best players. It's obvious where the issues have been. Central midfield (without Lavia) and attack.

Expecting to lose so I'd just be happy with a good performance. We haven't had one in so long.

Doesn't surprise me. It was a massive f*ck up on his part and could well contribute to us getting relegated.

If KWP is out I'd probably put Djenepo at RB.

Hell of a performance tonight. Bullied their CB's and didn't stop running for 90 minutes. Hopefully that header gives him a boost of confidence.

When Lavia is fit we should play 4-3-3 with Diallo and JWP infront of him. As he showed when he came on tonight, Diallo is great at carrying the ball forward. Much better as an 8 than at 6.

Adams won us that game because other than that we were absolutely awful

Blackmore seems to have this unwavering loyalty to Hassenhuttl and Semmens. Basically saying we have the worst squad in the league (it isn't great but it's not as bad as 12 points in 20 games). Seems to me he's trying to point the finger at SR (who spent almost £70 million this summer) and the fans.

From what we know so far - some of the players aren't playing for him and the majority of the fanbase are now against him. Once you've lost a number of the players, that's the beginning of the end and there's no coming back. So I have no idea what SR are waiting for.

Agree with this. For me, getting rid of Semmens and Ralph and then signing a striker in the January window would be a serious statement. Yes it's a lot of change but then again it's needed. Whether this happens is yet to be seen...

He has a lot to work on but the big difference to him and McCarthy is that he's 10 years or so younger.
