Forster; KWP, Vestergaard, Salisu, Bertrand; Jankewitz, JWP, Tella, Armstrong; Adams, Ings. Subs: McCarthy, Bednarek, Stephens, Ferry, Diallo, Djenepo, Minamino, Walcott, Redmond. Bednarek needs a game or two away from the starting 11 and Diallo has been very poor lately. I'd also bring Adams back in for Redmond who has reverted back to his usual self.

Just a pathetic performance really. I'd rather we'd just gone for it and lost 2 or 3-1. It's a one off game FFS. Go for the win. Seems like we were scared to lose.

This. I'd like to see Watson moved on, think we need a freshen up in that department.
-
Signing Walcott permanently would be madness. A complete waste of wages. Djenepo is the future, Walcott most certainly is not.
-
JWP and Walcott were diabolical tonight and the others weren't far behind. Thought Armstrong was our only decent player and Djenepo looked lively. For me, Ralph has one game to save his job.

Although I don't feel like there's any real chance of relegation now, I think winning this one would pretty much guarantee our place in the league next season. I'd like to see us go with our strongest team tomorrow and on Sunday against Leicester. There's enough time between games for recovery and I think it's what we need - a consistent settled side.
-
Totally agree with this. After the first 30 mins we were the better team for the rest of the match. You could see what Ralph had worked on with the players during the international break - creating chances. I can't remember a match where we looked so threatening in the final third.
-
I thought it was a foul on KWP in real time but having seen the replay I think he needs to be a bit stronger in that situation. As you say, if it was given it would've been soft.
-
Pope did make some very good saves but you could argue he should've stopped Armstrong's goal..
-
Redmond looks a different player now his confidence is up. The key is to keep this form going. Armstrong was class and Ings looked back to his usual self after a break. Thought KWP was off colour and Walcott was very poor (apart from the assist) Deserved win in the end and good to see us creating so many chances against a side that generally don't concede a lot of goals.
-
Good goal that. Lovely touch to set himself up and then a decent finish into the corner.

How many other strikers in the bottom half of the league have a better return? There are a few but not many. 7 goals and 4 assists is not bad, there are still 9 games left as well, so would expect him to get a few more. Redmond has never produced more than 4 assists or 7 goals in a season, granted before this season he's played in a slightly different position. Surely if SKD says Redmond has been "average" and that's ok because he only cost us £10 million, then the same can be said of Adams, no?
-
You think it's pathetic that people bang on about him? Just like you bang on about Che Adams despite him actually producing a good return so far this season? Don't forget that Che Adams only cost £1 million more than Redmond in a more inflated market 😉

Armstrong was incredibly good today. His pace is surprising, one of those players who seems quicker when he's on the ball.
-
Forster; KWP, Vestergaard, Salisu, Bertrand; Diallo, JWP; Armstrong, Djenepo; Tella, Adams. Bournemouth have a fair few injuries which is a bonus but Danjuma and Solanke are both in pretty good form so need to be wary of those two.
-
That's the team I'd select.

I agree with this. We're such a soft touch. You look at players like Bertrand, Bednarek, JWP, Redmond, Minamino, even Ings and Adams at times. None of them show any guts or fight when the going gets tough. JWP is definitely not a captain - good player, but not a captain. Ralph clearly gives a damn which seperates him from a lot of the players, it's more his tactical side which seems to be failing at present.
-
I'd hazard a guess that Ralph will be here as long as we don't go down. Probably due to finances as well as having the full backing of Martin Semmens. Personally I think he needs to be more flexible with his game plans. We're so predictable, especially when chasing a game - we just seem to run out of ideas and pass the ball around on the half way line. I'm still behind Ralph but that opinion might well be different depending on how/where we finish this season.
-
He was awful today tbf
-
Bednarek is having a poor spell and needs a bit of time out of the side in my opinion. Bertrand not great today but isn't getting much support. I think Diallo is playing well though.
-
That's a much fairer analysis..
-
McCarthy's confidence has well and truly gone. Forster now clear No. 1 in my opinion.
-
Has he been nailing your missus or something? Seems like you have a genuine dislike for him.
-
I agree with those saying rest KWP and Armstrong. Both have struggled with games in quick succession and are our two most important players. I'd almost be tempted to play Djenepo at right back to be honest.
-
Absolutely brilliant strike today. He's our best striker at passing and holding it up. He may not be a natural goalscorer but he does do a lot of good things for the team.
