    Che Adams

Completely agree. N'Lundulu has held it up well when he's come on but I can't see anything else there to suggest he'll make it as a premier league player. He must be 22 now? Is he past the age of being young, hungry and guaranteed to improve?
  2. I'd definitely have a look at Robinson from Fulham. Looks a very good player especially going forwards.
  3. The Bournemouth fans I've spoken to think he is awful.
  4. Probably worth resting our best players for that City game. It's a write off for most teams at the moment, let alone one that has 1 point from a possible 27.
  5. Huge game coming up on Saturday. I think we need two more wins to be safe. If we don't get one here then serious questions need to be asked. Forster; KWP, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Bertrand; Diallo, JWP; Armstrong, Minamino/Djenepo; Tella, Ings.
  6. Armstrong aside that was a shocking 85 minutes. We actually looked half decent for the last 10 but unsurprisingly a lack of composure cost us. I certainly wouldn't be bothered if Redmond didn't put a Saints shirt on again - how many opportunities has he had? Time to ship him out.
  7. Tella is miles better than Redmond
  8. Nathan Redmond and Che Adams have been nothing short of disgraceful tonight.
  9. Not a fan of playing Bednarek and Armstrong out of position again. I'd rather it was a 3-5-2 but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Personally think that Tella did enough vs Leeds to earn another start.
  10. I could see Stephens doing a job as a CDM in a midfield 3, but not in a 2 when both CM's need to be mobile and be able to win the ball back high up the pitch. His passing and awareness are both generally poor and would rather see Jankewitz given another shot.
  11. Similarly to us, they spent their money very poorly. Eddie Howe did a good job there, you've only got to look at how disjointed they are this season. Yes they might be sixth but according to their fans they are very lucky to still be in a half decent position.
  12. Very true. Some rather odd suggestions being put forward here. Not surprising though.
  13. Every time Armstrong has played in CM for us we have leaked goals left, right and centre. He is very good in the number 10 role but he isn't good enough defensively to play any deeper.
  14. Forster; Bednarek, Vestergaard, Salisu; Bertrand, Jankewitz, JWP, Djenepo; Armstrong, Tella, Ings. 3-4-3 with Djenepo and Bertrand playing as wing backs. Thought Tella was our best attacker tonight so would like to see him given another go.
  15. Yep. They have covered more ground than the opposition in every game they've played this season, which kinda covers up for how badly organised they are - they leave way too much space for other teams to exploit. As long as we defend as well as we did today then we should have enough chances to win the game.
  16. I've got a close friend who supports Leeds. He says that without Phillips they are incredibly lightweight in midfield and he's their most important player. Raphinha is the player we've got to watch. Rate him very highly.
  17. Djenepo & Salisu very good and generally we defended pretty well. Thought Redmond and Minamino were awful until the goal. Whilst Minamino improved after that, Redmond didn't. It's clear that Ralph learned his lesson from previous games and decided to defend deeper once we took the lead. Unfortunately a poor decision from Danny Ings cost us the three points.
  18. McCarthy; Salisu, Bednarek, Vestergaard; Djenepo, Romeu, JWP, Armstrong, Bertrand; Minamino, Ings. I'd bring Armstrong in for Redmond if he's fit. Minamino is clearly a very good finisher so stick him upfront with Ings.

  20. Anyone but Stephens
  21. KWP has done his hamstring and will be out for a while. Excellent. The amount of hamstring injuries we've suffered this season is absolutely crazy.
  22. No it's not and we've conceded 17 goals and scored 3 in the process. Although the cup should be the priority, I still think it's important that we try and beat last season's points tally and finish as high as possible for income reasons.
  23. Another important game, this time in the league. You'd expect Wolves to revert to their usual side with Traore, Neto, Coady etc coming back in. Hopefully the win tonight puts us on the front foot and we must've gained a lot of confidence from the all round performance. I'd stick with the same back 5 personally, especially after a rare clean sheet. I suppose the main arguments are does Vestergaard come back in for Salisu and does Forster keep his place? Forster; KWP, Bednarek, Salisu, Bertrand; Romeu, JWP; Armstrong, Minamino; Adams, Ings. Subs: McCarthy, Stephens, Vestergaard, Chauke, Finnigan, Djenepo, Redmond, Tella, N'Lundulu.
  24. Bertrand was very good tonight. For me we have to get a new contract agreed ASAP. He's been a great servant and can still play at the highest level. Would certainly make more sense giving Bertrand a 2/3 year deal than it did Shane Long.
  25. Apart from one poor moment he looked very good in my eyes. Calm on the ball, quick, strong and barely lost a header. He'll have tougher games but you can't ask much more than that after 6 months out.
