  1. Im not sure that Bazanu should have saved it to be fair
  2. Interesting, thanks for that. Can you put that on the Jones out thread?
  3. Your first post above you stated that if we stay up NJ will have nothing to do with him. That obviously is nonsense and so my reply was a brush off to the post. I have little evidence to say how NJ will improve or his attributes. I have seen a short period some players showing a bit of improvement, including JWP looking like his former self. The players at this moment look to be buying in, but Im not there to say for sure. My other reasons I am backing NJ 1. I doubt SR will sack him, as they have belief in their own choice. Hence if we support him, it makes his job easier and the team can have less pressure. I doubt they look forward to playing at SMS as the fans are not giving their full support and are looking to have a go 2. If the players are having problems changing to a new style, how will they change again to another. 3. I want to see the ball in the box a bit more, with JWP etc driving into the box aka Newcastle do. 4. I'm tired of us being pushovers and want us learning the dark arts, make us nastier, and not being the club away teams love to play. I believe that NJ will instil a lot of this, we are where we are and so i am standing in the NJ in camp. If he fails we fail, that is the crux of it. All of us on here think we know best, but frankly we don't, and if you ever read the match thread you will see what a bunch of depressants are on there. Yu read the thread and it sounds like we have not made a pass, then watch the game/highlights and we are pretty good. It really is comical. 'The idiot, Lyanco (example), he should never be allowed to wear the shirt again', 'He's stealing a living' then 'YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS' 'Lyancoooooooooooooooo, make a statue of him' No doubt Im exaggerating a tad but Im not far out lol
  4. That's never in doubt, but on the TV he shows no fire and sorry to say a bit magnolia. In time that will count against him as viewers want Keane type analysts, who are to the point. I hope he starts showing the real Frannie in time and fights for our cause
  5. Ok Ralph, if you say so.
  6. Im just thick lol
  7. Lol 😃 You'll be singing his name come the end of the season . I hope so anyway as it means we've been successful
  8. Money may well ruin him. It is a shame, but football is a game of greed and disloyalty
  9. I find that in the main, the away support are a bit more understanding. As for Lyanco or Bednarek, or Salisu or any other, there is not much in it!!!!
  10. Lol touche
  11. Lol, funnily enough mine is blocked, so you may have thought we were in a darkened room
  12. You did, it was a few years ago. Never mind it really doesn't matter. Swannymere, is watching us and so dont ruin his climax
  13. No, however much you keep sending me messages begging me to watch. You can't
  14. Terrible. We give the away fans prime position to suppprt wheras they get awy with placing ours away from the action. Unfair advantage. Well done doing the trip, the support and voices great
  15. Perhaps NJ was terrible in a former life and punishment he was to have a fanbase like ours 😃
  16. I wouldn't say in front of KWP. I have seen many posters saying that Perraud was not good enough for the PL. I feel Perraud should have started but Im not sure Bree did any worse than he would have, luckily when Perraud slipped (accident) that could have ended our fight sooner. I am backing Bree as I feel he doesnt deserve unfair criticism and he didnt do badly.
  17. Cant win, when the 2 signings were on the bench a couple of games ago he was pilloried for not playing them, he does and gets a stick for that. Seeing Orsic play when he did I can see why he didnt play him immediately.
  18. FTF you are correct in much you say. At the end of the day we are a few fans who like to bitch at each other but all have the same aim. Just my point of view is that NJ is not that bad. The owners are unlikely to change route and so falling in behind the team and manager can only be a good thing. Point out mistakes by all means, but some of the vitriol is pathetic. Constantly picking holes in every interview, belittling his achievements in football. Fans will laugh, but it takes a lot to be manager of the year in the Championship, especially when managing Luton. As I have said many times before, he wasn't someone on my radar but he's here and we should give him a fair crack. It is so bad that Bree was pilloried on Twitter as he was a Jones man. Totally unfair, fortunately he showed some glimpses that he will indeed be a good squad member, and will cope.
  19. I dont understand that way of thinking Whitey!! Surely you track a midfield runner all the way, as the defenders have their own men to cover. I believe the pundits ( although they were useless) pointed out that on both occasions AA and Alcarez were in the wrong. In fact Frannie highlighted it himself
  20. you'll be like a pig in... then you can tell the world 'I was right, I told them so'
  21. Apologies then Dman.
  22. Not sure what you mean, i think the player was 10yardsout? but surely leaving him when he ran into the area was totally wrong. It seems other clubs players track the run where ever he runs
  23. Duncan all your concerns are valid, but taking into account our squad to theirs, the eye on future games and trying to find the answer is not easy. I agree that 5 at the back was a mistake, but to be fair he wouldnt hve exppected the dereliction of duty by AA and Alcaraz not tracking runs.
  24. Dont take any notice of the snipes. The midfield general is a good poster and bleeds Saints like the rest of us. Just keep posting
  25. Forgive me if Im wrong, but was it you who suggested for us to bring back Tella and to send Edozie in exchange on loan??
