  1. AA being TBH's rep is also a bit odd. There are so many unanswered questions, why be surprised when it has to do with them i suppose.
  2. thank heavens they tightened the FPPT then Lol
  3. Lol I get my hopes up reading the well informed on here, that they are going to be toast and then this hope gets crushed. I have stated all along that they were going to get away with it, and sadly that belief keeps getting reintroduced as i see the events unfold. A fortnight ago there was much celebration on here and the toasts were in full force, that has diminished now and many are accepting that indeed they will survive. I hope I have jumped the gun and dearly want egg to be on my face and will be happy to say in capitals that I was foolish and could not read the events, i even put a bet up that nobody took up (I gave the money on sunday to St Johns ambulance at a charity event, as i thought that was apt due to Pompey owing them from administration)
  4. all along BC was going to take the on, he just has been using Birch to get rid of the high earners using the fans pressure to do so. They are now down to a manageable level even if TBH does stay although if it is only now over 300k he will settle. Ma will now have a blank canvass to build a side with players out of contract who will be keen to take low er wages they would have done if they were still on a contract at a club. There is quite a decent pool of players out there and PFC will become a decent team in L1. They will not go down and even push for top 6. Whilst some think they will be finished for a decade, i dont believe so,it is patently obvious once you kick off the season it would take a massive indiscretion for the FL to help pull the plug and so they will now again be able to flick the fingers at the world. Liquidation was the only real punishment for their past misdemeanors and they have got away with it. I truly hope Iam jumping the gun here but sadly I don't think so.
  5. lol looks like a audition for a boyband, could be named 'Wrong Direction'
  6. his level IMO. L1 player. Gives his all but not quick enough for the higher league. he will do well there and we may get a fee back to re-invest
  7. this is why i want them gone forever, they can still return. All the talk of them being humilliated will go out of the window very quickly and they will muster a decent side from players who are free agents
  8. i agree but Mero comes on here telling us he is an admin and doesnt see the hypocrisy of banning saints but then wishing to come and put his propaganda on here. Iam not against the sensible ones like Mero , mack etc who in the main are decent and whilst anti us, still show some humour and respect.
  9. Mero are you not a bit embarrased about the banning. personally i have no interest in visiting other teams sites but if you are banning just because they are Saints it i a bit pathetic. Dont forget what we put up with when you were on top, and your fans were not banned.
  10. it is amazing how you lot turn on the people who saved you. You must realise that if BC had not lent you the money your club was gone 2 years ago. He was duped (it seems to me) into lending your club money on the back of some wild valuations of your clubs worth. You now happily will cut him off at the knees so he only gets 3m back. I have no time for him, but how your great fans stab people in the back is shameful. As for it can't be used for anything else, well i think you will find it will be demolished if no football club is there. I often see properties that are left to go to ruin and eventually the planners want the eyesore out of the way. In 3 years after the club is gone, the stadium will be demolished and something put up. When it looked as if we were going I was under no illusion that the stadium would be there forever.
  11. The PP are over 2 years are they not? and so surely the budget should be done so accordingly. Is BC really going to accept 2.75m when he is owed 18m? Surely if he was going to accept that low figure he woulod have walked and not considered taking you over?
  12. How much was the stadium valued for when they hoodwinked that woman judge? Im sure it was much more than 2.75m. it is a disease down there how they think they can nick property for nothing
  13. Sorry mate but you are re-writing history there, you have said toast more times than they did on that record in the 70's lol
  14. if you believe that is enough that is fine by me, but it is not in my book. Plenty of them feel liquidation was worthwhile it to get the Wembley visits etc. To then survive they would have double whammy. While they are breathing they have many years to come back again, and can pick up another backer, as stupid as it seems it has happened a few times already. As am older than you and can remember when they were off the radar swimming around the depths of the leagues, when they nearly were liquidated but found MM and then became a force spending what they couldn't afford. It will be far better seeing their children and more probably their grandchildren wearing Saints shirts in the future. Let them live and you will have the odd derby, whoopie do, I won't miss that much but them having no club will be fine by me. The cheating and stealing has gone past my compassion for the club, sorry Mack
  15. BC will take over the club, Iam certain of that and so HR has longer. I suspect HR and co will then buy the club for peanuts and then rebuild. They are not toast and will return, it is an unpalatable thought but seems to be the future. They have not had their just rewards for the crime but it seems the gods are on their side whatever
  16. this is a very clever bit of photoshopping as it shows a crowd. What do you call a bunch of Pompey fans......a thicket
  17. to die for.
  18. its funny how his attitude has changed to this highly paid player now he is leaving. He is just like a spoilt child and is happy now he is allowed to have a bar of chocolate. He is like Ho's clone
  19. they wont be liquidated, that is now looking certain. They are not toast but slightly singed .
  20. all the kits are s### due to the adverts on the fronts. The Newcastle one is ironic with a PL footballer with money splashed all over the front. Fans should boycott buying the shirts until the branding is removed. You are just walking advertising hoardings wearing them

  22. seems that more on here are starting to see that yet again Pompey.... ... .... .... ..
  23. You have to credit the Pompey fans as htey have had far more media coverage than we did when we looked as if we were going pop. Hardly a word, and no phone ins then. I still believe it is a sham and BC is going to take them on. If the pressure offloads a coupe more of the highly paid players all the better for BC but if not he will still take it on. If not he would have walked by now
  24. for all those who say 'this is fun, let them survive' I remember when they were minutes from liquidation before and MM came in and saved them. I was told then that they would never recover and be in the lower leagues. What happened they rose and we had to stomach their time in the sun and all the crowing the likes of Ho and co came at us with. All the time we argued about the club not affording it but still they put together a team of internationals and in turn had their glory. We have had our warning from history, let them be crushed and so the air of Hampshire is cleansed, the children of East Hants can be re-educated and they can see the light and become Saints not Skates.
