  1. He hasn't wheeled his wife out, Im not sure whether that is by choice but perhaps as she sounds as though she is not Britsih then he may worry that some would not be so keen on him. Personally it doesnt matter to me, but I do wonder if that may make a difference to a small percentage if they did hear her talking, and so she is given a back seat
  2. Suppressing your real feeling again MB,
  3. Thanks CS, So not 61% to Clegg!!! Must be a different poll.
  4. thats what I thought. Watching David Gold this morning on tv looking so chuffed, it is good for the PL and good for the FL' he said. How can it be good for the FL? I assume if the PL clubs go straight back up the para payments atre then shared with the FL clubs. Still no consolation. Im waiting for Avram to come out and say 'no , it is wrong' as all he wants is a level playing field.
  5. Yep it is Browns only chance of getting the keys to No 10 and so he will cuddle up. Whether the penny will drop with the electorate I dont know. One thing is certain in my mind is that a hung parliament is a disaster, we are going back to the early 1970's all over again and that sent us into freefall. The nation likes to p### about with all its class nonsense, but really we need people who create wealth to be rewarded (not bankers bonusses) not to feel 2nd class citizens. If i have a choice i want the best for my children and want the whole of society to be pulled upwards. Create a successful vibrant economy and you get more tax revenue, keep punishing the richest and they just move quietly away to foreign lands. I know of a few clients who have sold up and are moving elsewhere, their wealth is moving away whch in turn weakens the nation.
  6. What did Brown get?
  7. So self interest rules, that is something people always point at the tories about. Did you not hear Clegg say he was going to cut into the public sector as in wage cap, he didnt say he would stop the NI, and so that is effectively a wage cut for the public sector. All the politicians hide the bad news. Clegg talking about being honest is a nonsense. I wish Cameron had pushed him more about the 2.5m the Liberals took from the criminal and have not paid it back, Clegg was on the run but DC pulled back. Clegg came across well, but standing there with his hand in his pocket was disrespectful to the nation as he was supposed to be trying to convince us he was PM material. He may as well done a high five at the end. Brown tried to be personable but you can see it is not just his way and he grates. That is why he gave Clegg such an easy ride, he knows his only way to power is by coalition and expect a lot more cosying up to Cleggy baby in the next couple of debates. DM's strategy seems to be trying to stay above the dirty politics and looking statesmanlike. Clegg taxing the banks will not help the economy, that is our main income as a nation, without the City where are our earnings comiong from now oil and gas is fast running out?
  8. what a surprise Cameron did well to get 8 with those readers Lol
  9. Apologies to both then
  10. you wish
  11. you wish
  12. Ron does a long throw count as a cross?
  13. Ho seems to not understand the principle of how they got into the position they are in now. Without MM Gaydo etc they would still be in CCC at best. The debts mounted up under MM and he jumped ship. There were reports of 100m debt when MM was selling to Gaydamek. The Pompey fans have lived the dream and after the 2nd cup final appearance I think wahtever happens now they have had a fantastic deal...not for their grandchildren but for fans in the last 10 years.
  14. Yep in the second half that whole end would have been full
  15. As a business owner ,whoever gets in it will cost me more. Brown has at long last admitted his mistake in taking away the regulation of the banks when they came into power. That was one hell of a mistake, and if he thinks owning up to it he will be forgiven, that is another gaff. It's like pressing the nucleur button and then saying , 'oh I got it wrong that time, I'll learn from that mistake' Cameron seems a decent man but I dont like a lot of his people (Hague is the exception) Clegg , well he's a Liberal all open toe sandals, bushy beards and wishy washy Guardian readers. Vince cable is Ok but I saw him make a fundamental error when he was debating finance on Newsnight when talking about the debt crisis. As a nation we need somebody with real conviction and able to grasp the nettle. We have such an underclass of shirkers, chavs and hangers on that in time will get to a tipping point that outnumber the normal decent man in the street.
  16. Clegg as well, what about Mandelson? No doubt he will demand closer relations with Brazil Hung parliament is bad news BTW
  17. They are so ashamed of being Skates they don't want to sit together as a group lol. Spread out make us look more.....or harder to hit. To be fair all of those fans are proper football fans who live and breathe their club.I salute them.
  18. I dont go on rivals sites giving it the big one. Sadly some saints fans do, why I'm not sure. I do hope they dont disappear whe the going gets tough like the Skates do on here.
  19. but he is not a neutral, but a pompey fan reporting on a Man city site. It is amazing how the Skates are appearing on here again. Only Mack Rill was consistant.
  20. i dont know about the contract issue and pre jan, just the little I know about the situation. I hope Antonio understands his future is better served here, but Reading are a division higher and their new manager seems to be getting them moving up.
  21. He is at this time, their player. They are able to offer him a renewed contract during this time and they want him. If he was one of our players out on loan and we knew he was likely to be a free agent Im sure3 the fans would be baying for us to get him resigned. He has impressed the new manager ,especially his performance in the JPT final.
  22. The interesting take on this for me is that a normal administrator is liable for extra costs/debts. This one seems to have won the lottery and on a spending spree. The lawyers and consultancy bills must be quite high,or is he doing it all himself?
  23. Reading have watched his progress , especially in the JPT and their new manager wants him back. So dont tear yourselves up whether he will sign . I believe it is out of our hands.
  24. yep lets tell him, that will stop him leaving us Lol
  25. why cant they put some of their reserve players on the bench or youth team. No sympathy did we get when we had so many forwards injured we had to play our 16 and 17year olds up front at Everton in our relegation season. There is no excuse for not having a full allocation of subs. It was just them trying to make a point about playing a weakened side but alos keeping back players who may have clauses in their contracts due to games played kick in.Dindanes last game will be the final, he wont be seen playing before then
